How to set up systems for success

One of the key points in the first chapter of Atomic Habits is that you don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems. Stacking the deck so that it's harder to fail goes a lot further than relying on willpower. For fitness, reduce the scope but stick to the schedule. Even if you don't have time for a full workout, doing a small part of it still counts and maintains the habit. The bad days matter more than the good days because showing up on the bad days proves your commitment and maintains the habit.
