Harry Jones writes about their time at the hospital: closely watched, unable to talk but able to briefly hold hands at night. They were physically and psychologically worn, risking slipping into genuine madness. After six months, they were certified as insane and repatriated to Britain. However, once their ships left Ottoman waters, both Jones and Hill miraculously recovered and were fine.

In 1916, two British soldiers were held captive in a remote prisoner-of-war camp. People said the camp was escape-proof. One day, one of the soldiers received a postcard from his aunt in England, suggesting they try experimenting with a Ouija board. When reports of ghosts started circulating around the camp, the two soldiers had an idea.
