The Interconnectedness of Freedom and Meaning in Life

The freedom we leave behind after we die reflects our choices and allows the next generation to act freely. Completing projects should be seen as a launching point for the next project, and similarly, other people should be seen as launching points for the next instantiation of freedom. Maximizing the freedom of others should be a high priority. The meaning we seek in life is closely connected to other people, and much of what we want can only be fulfilled by other people who are free. Without the help of others, many of our life goals are impossible to achieve, and our values are closely connected to relationships with other people who need to be free in order for meanings to be revealed.
