Innovation and success often involve building on ideas and philosophies of those who came before. From Steve Jobs to Thomas Edison, Warren Buffet to Bill Gates, successful individuals have all learned, admired, and even imitated their predecessors. The concept of studying and drawing inspiration from the work of others is a timeless practice observed throughout the history of technology and innovation.
Let me share a little theory I have about optimism, and why progress is so easy to underestimate.
