NOTE

Ritual and Rationality

Rituals contribute to the generation of trust through recognition and forgiveness. In the context of rationality, rituals offer an imaginal space for reflection and cognitive correction, which is not merely fictional or literal but imaginal. Engaging in ritualistic practices leads to fundamental transformations in metacognition, forming the core of rationality. While ritual may not be rational in a propositional sense, it possesses a non-propositional rationality that aims to systematically transfer and deeply transform individuals across various facets of life and levels of the psyche.
