Assessing Affordability and Changing Credit Worthiness in the Loan Market

We believe that in assessing loan affordability, it's important to shift from credit worthiness to the ability to pay. This is what we have worked on with the FCA for over a year. Rather than relying on credit bureaus, we use a combination of software, traditional checks, open banking data, and our own scoring system. By doing so, we can determine if customers have the cash flow to afford their repayments over time.
