Levels of Rehabilitation Units
Rehabilitation units in this country are categorized into three levels. Level three units, typically specialized in neurological or other areas of rehabilitation, cater to less complex patients who are medically stable and require fewer forms of therapy. Level two units are slightly more complex than level three, serving a wider population with patients who have higher medical needs, still specialized but dealing with more complexity. Level one units, like the one at Queen's Square, are tertiary units with consultants in rehabilitation medicine, neurology, or psychiatry, handling the most complex cases in specialized areas.
