Although initially hoping for mentorship, the sudden loss of the entire team forced self-education in content marketing. Drawing from a journalism background, a strong emphasis was placed on storytelling and customer engagement, notably mandating direct customer interviews for content creation, shifting from previous practices that relied on written questionnaires. As competition in the content marketing space increases, there is a clear need for deeper customer insight and connection in content strategies.
