Why did Putin think Ukraine would fall immediately?
CNN's John Defterios says Putin thought Ukraine would fall apart in five seconds. He says the Russian president was likely thinking of Hungary or Czechoslovakia, where uprisings took place. And he thinks that Russians have a strong affinity for Russia because they're Russian-speakers, Defterios writes. But it turned out to be much more complicated than what first appeared, defterios says.
