NOTE

Ancient Greek Magical Practices

In Ancient Greek magical practices, Hecate, the goddess of magic and witchcraft, was revered for her ability to enter and leave the underworld. Her followers used amulets made from symbolic objects like scarabs, evil eyes, and even genitalia. Magical tablets, made of thin metal like lead, were used to write requests or curses before being folded and thrown into wells or graves. Binding spells were also popular to restrict or harm enemies, such as bankrupting their businesses or removing romantic rivals from the picture, and even targeting attorneys who posed a threat in court.
