The Naming of Homo Neanderthalensis and Homo Sapiens

Homo neanderthalensis is sometimes referred to as Homo sapiens neanderthalensis as it may be a subspecies of Homo sapiens./n"Sapiens" means wise in Latin./nThe word "sapiens" may have been chosen somewhat arbitrarily./nAccording to some, the brain is the only thing that named itself./nThe word "brain" may not be the best choice for such an important organ.
