Understanding Speciesism and Its Forms

Speciesism, the belief that humans are morally superior, is a major issue. Humans have rights, dignity, and moral status, while animals do not. This anthropocentric view places humans at the center of the moral universe. However, there is another form of speciesism where people may find it wrong to eat dogs but not pigs, showing a preference based on personal experiences. Pigs are actually highly intelligent, as portrayed in George Orwell's Animal Farm.
