Trevor sits down with Meridian Mining CEO Gilbert Clark to cover this morning's news regarding new drill results out of the Cabaçal Cu-Au-Ag project and the Santa Helena Cu-Au-Ag & Zn project. Clark also discusses the decision to push the expected PFS for Cabaçal to Q1 2025 due to the need for more quality data. We also discuss the importance of multiple assets in development companies given recent developments from the sector.

In this conversation, CEO Zach Flood discusses the latest drill results and baseline studies at the Frotet project in Quebec. The drill results showed consistent high-grade gold intercepts, and the infill drilling is leading to an update of the geologic model. The company plans to share more information on the model and aims to complete a resource estimate by the end of 2025. Additionally, Zach talks about the potential development of a decline to allow year-round drilling and access underground. Kenorland Minerals has no more funding obligations on the project and plans to transition Sumitomo into Operatorship.

Ascot Resources CEO Derek White provides an update on the company's mining operations and mill commissioning. He discusses the challenges they faced in completing stoping mining without a second egress and the need to establish proper production. White also talks about the lower-than-expected grades in Q2 and the struggles they encountered in the mill, particularly with the carbon in leach process. He mentions the importance of getting the mill to run consistently and the need for better grade ore to improve recoveries.

Adriatic Metals CEO, Paul Cronin, provides an update on the Rupice mine on the Vares project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mine has experienced delays due to equipment delivery issues and the termination of the mining contractor. However, the company has shipped its first concentrates and received its first cash inflow. The plant is working well. The mine's development is expected to have economic benefits for the community, including improved infrastructure and healthcare. Adriatic Metals is also exploring expansion and potential acquisitions to diversify its portfolio.

Newcore Gold has started a new 10,000 meter drill program at their Enchi Gold Project in Ghana. The program aims to expand the known resource and convert inferred resources to indicated resources. The company plans to focus on infill drilling at their two largest resource areas, as well as explore other resource areas. The drilling will primarily be shallow, with holes ranging from 50 to 150 meters in depth. The company has secured funding for the drill program through the exercise of warrants.

American Eagle Gold provides an update on their drilling campaign at the NAK Porphyry project in British Columbia. They have discovered new targets through IP test work and found mineralized outcrop in the IP and embayment zone. The company is now focused on drilling in this area and believes it could be even bigger than the main NAK target. They have added a second rig to target the embayment zone and the copper-gold stockwork.

There are new drill results from Wesdome Gold Mines this morning. Ascot Resources provided an update from Premier. Newcore Gold has an influx of cash in the bank. The project has a high-grade gold resource of over a million ounces and is surrounded by other mining projects.
