Iron Control, Combating Chronic Fatigue + Exercise & Diet in Your 50s w/Dennis Mangan
Why is iron responsible for so many diseases and health problems in men? What habits and factors make it hard for people to attain health and excellent physique? On this episode, Dennis Mangan goes deep on his book Dumping Iron, the dangers of excess body iron, and how to stay in the best shape and health in your 50s. The person who wants to stay in good health as they get older needs to put forth the effort to do things that are going to help them. - Dennis Mangan Three Takeaways Blood donation is the easiest and fastest way for men to get rid of excess iron. Having good cardiovascular conditioning is an important determinant of health, but it’s incomplete without strength training. If you want to lose weight in your 50s try intermittent fasting. Have a cup of coffee for breakfast, eat at noon and avoid carbs, especially after 6pm. At the start of the show Dennis gave us a background of his career, his research in chronic fatigue and how Rogue Health & Fitness got started. We also talked about the current medical industry, and why some doctors are misinformed. In the next portion on the show, Dennis shared his research on iron and the effects it has on men. He went on to share how men can keep iron in check. Towards the end of the show we talked about the benefits of strength training and intermittent fasting. Dennis also shared insights on: Why men have 4 times the amount of iron women do The importance of working on your body composition How ferritin is used to check your iron Why women need strength training more than men The importance of putting effort into your health and educating yourself Iron is a very reactive metal, even in the body. Evolution has not optimized us to get exactly the right amount. Men are more susceptible to the dangers of iron, so controlling it is important. Most doctors are not informed enough to intelligently tell people how to reduce iron and improve lifestyle habits. The greatest responsibility for our health lies with us, our willingness to put effort and how much we educate ourselves. Guest Bio Dennis Mangan is the author of Dumping Iron and the founder of Rogue Health & Fitness, where he educates others on natural means of rehabbing their bodies and creating the body of their dreams. Interventional Endocrinology & Its Effect on Depression, TBIs & the Inflammatory System w/Dr. Mark Gordon
With so many individuals battling depression, there’s a need for drastic action. Why do doctors favor anti-depressants over hormone therapy for treatment? Why is this approach flawed? On this episode, Dr. Mark Gordon and I go deep on interventional endocrinology, physician awareness and the significance of the growth hormone. We think of testosterone as a reproductive hormone, but it also has a phenomenal effect on the inflammatory system. - Dr. Mark Gordon Three Takeaways If someone is on anti-depressants and they are still depressed, something else has to be off. Most doctors are trained in illness medicine but not in proactive, preemptive wellness medicine. The majority of physicians who are all about illness medicine have no pharmaceutical reps educating them about TRT. At the start of the episode, Dr. Gordon gave us a background of his career, and how he ended up taking an interest in interventional endocrinology. He also shared on the differences between wellness and illness medicine, and why so few doctors are trained in the former. He also went deep on using HRT to help people with depression, and why it’s so hard for men to get hormone therapy through health insurance. Towards the end of the show we talked about PTSD and the benefits of the growth hormone. We also shared on: The connection between the lack of doctor awareness and pharmaceutical companies The Warrior Angel Foundation and why the government isn’t doing enough to help veterans with PTSD and TBIs. Why we need more medical wellness doctors The relationship between homocysteine and the growth hormone Guest Bio Dr. Gordon is the Medical Director of Millennium Health Centers, Inc. - Medicine for the 21st century, in Encino, California. Dr. Gordon has been a consultant to the Medical Board of California in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and Alternative Medicine (1998 - present). Testosterone deficiency is a common problem for a lot of men under 30. As a result, these individuals aren’t living up to their full potential, or experiencing fulfilling lives. On this episode we talk to Daniel Kelly and Joshua Bakuhn, two men under 30 who have seen the benefits of TRT in their own lives. When you’re not actualizing your full potential, you’re not optimal. - Joshua Bakuhn Three Takeaways Most doctors don’t know anything about hormone replacement, be prepared to educate yourself. At the start of the episode, Daniel and Josh described their lives before TRT, and how the treatment improved them. They also talked about the importance of educating themselves since most doctors don’t know about TRT. They went on to talk discuss how TRT has changed their dating lives and interactions with the opposite sex. Towards the end of the show we discussed people’s concerns about not being able to have children on TRT. We also talked about: How widespread testosterone deficiency is for men under 30 The importance of getting your blood work done and understanding your symptoms If the quality of life on TRT outweighs the downsides of the treatment What stops most men from going on TRT Why doctors haven’t caught up with TRT research Why it’s better to solve your testosterone deficiency now, and not in your 50s Once you realize you’re missing out on a great life, the decision to start TRT is an easy one. It sets you up for success because it keeps you motivated, and it gives you the drive to boldly go after your goals. Emotive Mind Power & The Truth About Reality w/Matt Belair
What does reality mean to each of us, and what is the true purpose of enlightenment? On this episode, we discuss emotive mind power, consciousness, reality and the differences between ego and false ego. Guest Matt Belair tells us about his amazing life experiences, from meditating with monks to experiencing altered states. We’re all experiencing reality outside of a lens, it’s different and unique for all of us. -Matt Belair Three Takeaways The pain we witness and experience is a catalyst for us to do something good. The first and easiest altered state to get to is reached through lucid dreaming. The ego doesn’t know the difference between intuition, source and your brain. At the start of the show, Matt gave us a background of his experiences, travels and adventures. He also talked about lucid dreaming and direct experience, “if someone is trying to convince you of something that feels off, then they are just trying to prove to you through words, something that could be limiting.” We went on to talk about the power of yogic breathing and how it helps us rise above reactionary experiences. Next, we talked about the definition of reality, and how we all experience it differently. Towards the end of the show we discussed ego and alien existence. We also discussed: The connection between breathing and enlightenment Deprogramming from false ego The truth about consciousness The difference between direct experience and thought Being of service while still caring about success A true seeker of enlightenment should always seek ascension beyond the self and the ego. What we experience as reality is subjective and self-controlled. Every single bit of your reality is like a mirror being balanced and you are actually creating it. Remember whatever you’re challenged by is just a belief system, and all we are is energy. How we use it determines our enlightenment and illumination. Guest Bio Matt is dedicated to acquiring the skills and knowledge to help others on their paths to greatness. The State of the Union & Healthcare Under Trump w/Dr. Aaron Grossman
With Trump’s win, what changes can we expect in healthcare and what will the fate of Obamacare be under this new administration? On this episode, founder of CHEKD.COM, Dr Aaron Grossman shares his insights, and also talks about the attack on the nuclear family and masculinity. If you want to control groups of people, the most powerful force is the nuclear unit, it’s the polarization of masculine and feminine. - Dr. Aaron Grossman Three Takeaways With this election, there’s a light being shone on how intrinsically messed up the healthcare system is. How ever you feel is a qualitative aspect, but there’s a quantitative component to it. Everything is a binary. Media and fear always play a bigger role than what is actually happening in the world. At the start of the episode, we discussed the state of the country now that Donald Trump is president. We talked about how this will change the healthcare system, and how it can possibly shift things politically. “Everything is off the table, the layer has been peeled back.” The healthcare system is having a light shone on it and this can help make necessary changes. We went on to talk about the attack on masculinity and the factors that have led to it, including what’s in the water supply. Towards the end of the show we discussed personalized health care. On this episode we also covered: The qualitative and quantitative aspects of healthcare Maintaining the strength of the family unit and gender differentiation The tax system and how the entrepreneurial system has remains untouched by it The chaos we’re witnessing can be attributed to the complete disruption of the nuclear family and the polarization of masculine and the feminine. With many things, the layer is being peeled back and truth of corruption and issues is being revealed. Fear and the media is dictating how people feel more than reality. The only way out, is taking control of the family unit, and taking more control of the personalized care of our own health. Guest Bio Aaron is the founder of CHEKD.com - a personalized blood and lab testing service that comes to customers on-demand. He decided to use his medical education to create an affordable at-home personalized blood testing system.

Focusing on Your Singular Mission, Nootropics & Choosing the Right Program w/Jim Brown
What is the importance of mentors for young men? What stress does body building subject your physiology to? On this episode, I talk to my mentor and friend Jim Brown, and we answer these questions and also discuss nootropics and proprietary blends and the best way to build an excellent physique. The key to reaching your goals is having someone you listen to who has a way to make their program repeatable. They have to have a track record of it, and you need to listen to them person exclusively. -Jim Brown Three Takeaways Mentors are important for teenage boys. They are able to teach them about identity and becoming a man. Until you’ve mastered one thing, you can’t do anything else and expect to be successful. The mastery will give you the freedom to do the other things because you have the income. A great physique really isn’t made in the gym. You have to stimulate the whole cascade of muscle repair and the rest of the day determines your health. The eating part of it is really the trick. At the start of the episode, Jim gave us a background of his life and how he got started with bodybuilding. He also talked about the importance of having a mentor and having a singular mission. We went on to talk about water manipulation, and the physiological stress that comes with body building. Towards the end of the show we talked about finding and sticking to the right program when there is just so much information out there. We also discussed nootropics and nutrition. The real trick to an excellent physique is the eating part of the equation. Whatever program you sign onto has to have the foundation of a mentor who has repeatable methods that you can stick to. With so many divergent philosophies from different gurus and the internet, ensure your success by exclusively following one singular mission; and working with someone who lives by the lifestyle you’re trying to follow. Guest Bio Jim Brown is an elite athlete who began training as a bodybuilder at age 13. Over the course of 21 years, he has become knowledgeable in every aspect of body transformation and elite performance. Jim’s goal isn’t simply to write out a diet program or workout plan, but to transform your view of nutrition, training and HRT so you can become analytical, informed and continue to make informed choices beyond consultation. Jim’s 31 years of practice-based information has allowed him to help thousands of people along the way. This level of experience means Jim has either personally dealt with issues you are facing, or has helped someone with those same issues. Jim’s level of insight due to being at the uppermost extremes of bodybuilding is incredible, and he is ready to help you achieve your health and longevity goals through proactive activity.

TBIs & The Military Medical Model w/Andrew Marr
What are the challenges veterans are met with when it comes to dealing with TBIs? How is the current healthcare system getting it wrong, and what changes can we expect under a new administration? On this episode, Andrew Marr talks about this and the Warrior Angel Foundation. Doctors can get rid of inflammation and balance hormones, but if you continue to think unnerving thoughts that produce the same results, you’ve just made a feedback loop that is not going to improve itself. -Andrew Marr Three Takeaways TBIs are a two-phase injury firstly, the initial blunt force trauma or explosive blast, and secondly post traumatic neuro-inflammation. You have to be in a neuro-permissive environment for the brain and body to regenerate. If you’re not in that environment, you’re in an environment of restriction and that’s the mother of all the problems we’re seeing. We can strengthen national security by keeping high performing individuals where they need to be. At the start of the show, we talked about Andrew’s background and his personal experience with a TBI. He also gave us some insight into TBIs and the necessity of putting people in neuro-permissive environments. We went onto discuss the current state of the system that’s meant to help veterans and the solutions the Warrior Angel Foundation provides. Towards the end of the show, we discussed changes under the new administration. People need to be able to be optimized. There needs to be a system in place with protocols, that can help people get better, stronger and more physically optimal. This rings especially true for the military medical model. Systems need to be put in place to promote neuro-plasticity, and help them heal and experience full lives. Guest Bio Andrew Marr is a Husband, Father, Entrepreneur, former Special Forces Green Beret, founder of Warrior Angels Foundation, and current patient of Dr. Mark L. Gordon. Astral Projection, Ego Death & the Future of Humanity w/Rex Bear
We might be in the age of wisdom and information, but the internet and media is filled with deception and lies. Has this contributed to a global lack of awareness and a docile society? Is it GMO food, alcohol, lack of exercise or TV? Is it something far greater contributing the level of our vibrational states? On this episode we discuss this with host of The Leak Project, Rex Bear. The only way you’re going to pursue the path of illumination and get to universal consciousness is to eventually kill the ego. -Jay Campbell Three Takeaways A lot of times, people use religion as a form of mind control which traps the soul, the body and the mind in a perpetual duality and that’s not necessarily the truth. Question everything and take everything with a grain of salt. There are so many opposites on different levels that oftentimes it comes down to what’s in the middle, that central key point holds more truth. At the start of the show, we talked about religion and how it can be a form of mind control that can keep people from finding the truth. We also discussed how Rex toes the line of being agnostic and how people are becoming more aware. We went on to discuss the current political climate as well as ego death and astral projection. Imagine being stuck inside a wall in perpetuity and only being able to move if it lets you. The only way to get outside of that is to completely eliminate the ego. As society progresses, there are going to be more people experiencing their awakening out of their docile state. Ultimately, the key to unlocking your awakening is learning to take everything with a grain of salt and realizing that the truth is in the middle, not the far left and far right. Food Intolerance: Testing through Elimination & Reintroduction w/Paul Burgess
A lot of the work we do to stay fit and healthy has to do with exercise and diet, but what about the internal reactions caused by what we eat? On this episode of the TRT Revolution, Paul Burgess is back to go deeper on food intolerance, exogenous ketones and digestive health. Takeaways If someone goes onto a ketogenic diet and they react to one of the foods, they won’t adjust their thinking the way they are meant to. Too many people discount the value of certain foods because they have carbs in them, and then they suffer low fiber and low enzymes as a result. Acid reflux is a symptom of low stomach acid. Burning in your chest does not mean you have too much acid. Don’t take more fiber when you’re constipated, take magnesium citrate. At the start of the show, we talked about supplements and so-called health trends. “Once people start bringing products to the market in the form of supplements and foods, you end up seeing a junk food train that is veiled in some kind of health scheme.” Next, we went into detail about food intolerances, and why testing is so important. No matter how healthy a lifestyle you might follow, if you don’t know what you react to, all of that is irrelevant. We went on to discuss how people can figure out whether they have an intolerance or not, and Paul mentions the importance of long-term elimination of the suspected food, and reintroduction to see how the body responds. We also talked about common digestive problems people face and how to correct them. Towards the end of the show, we discussed exogenous ketones. When it comes to dieting, people grab onto the headlines that best suit them and this extends to ketogenic dieting. People often discount beneficial foods and underestimate the fact that they might have intolerances to so-called good foods. The only way to know if a specific item is good for your body, is to eliminate and reintroduce it to see what the reaction is. Ultimately, if it’s right won’t experience bloating, gas or fatigue; your body will feel tight and lean. Guest Bio Paul is the founder of Athletic Fitness & Nutrition, which he created with the purpose of being able to deliver the highest specification, most cutting edge physical training techniques and nutrition advice. In his mid 30’s he decided to turn his passion for fitness into his full time career and became a nutritionist and personal trainer gaining Diploma’s in Clinical Nutrition, Personal Training and Anti-Ageing. The Truth About Naturally Elevating your Testosterone Levels w/Alexander Juan Antonio Cortes
It’s a popular belief that men can naturally increase their testosterone by using methods like exercise and diet, which begs the question, is there a shortcut to increasing your testosterone? On this episode, we discuss this with writer and trainer Alexander Juan Antonio Cortes and also discuss politics and the future of America. Three Takeaways Lifestyle adjustments will result in a qualitative difference in how you feel but, in terms of true physiological changes, you’re not going to experience anything. When there is a lack of testosterone in the brain, it has neurocognitive effects. You go with the masses and you don’t have the inclination towards leadership, risk taking or decision-making Marketing is the main reason people believe they can naturally elevate testosterone, by making guys feel inadequate about machismo and providing an easy “fix”. At the start of the show, we got right into the main topic of the show - how men can naturally boost their testosterone. The truth about this question is: there is no external way to elevate testosterone and even though some experts suggest diet and exercise, these things won’t make a meaningful and lasting difference. Next, we discussed the loss of masculinity in the world today, and how that has created a culture where people are happy to go with the masses and lack the inclination towards leadership, risk taking and decision-making. If your testosterone levels are low, there is nothing external you can do with lifestyle to significantly elevate it in a meaningful way. Exercise and diet have a greater effect on your mood and disposition than on your actual body. What has fostered the mindset that it’s possible to boost externally is the media’s need to give us a quick solution. If you’re expecting true physiological changes you’ll be disappointed. There’s no substitute for taking testosterone - it will always be your best and most effective option. Guest Bio Alexander Juan Antonio Cortes is a personal trainer and writer. For the last 8 years, he has made health, fitness, and all subjects thereof his area of focus and study. His primary aim is improving the health and lifestyle of as many people as possible.
