THE SPACESHIP EARTH PODCAST
Dan Burgess
We live on a life giving rock called Earth hurtling through space.
Like a spaceship, we have a finite amount of supplies with an intelligent operating system, called nature, which keeps everything replenished as long as we all respect and participate wisely.
In this podcast I’m in conversations with humans involved in regenerating life,
Shifting consciousness and re-imagining how we can live more beautifully and peacefully.
I talk with artists, writers, activists, designers, adventurers, healers, farmers, creative mavericks and more.
Their stories invite us to participate in the co-creation of life sustaining cultures.
In service to life.
Becoming crew on Spaceship Earth.

The Spaceship Earth - Episode 12 - Into the Woods part 2 - The Sitspot - with Dan Burgess
It's early January, there's a lot of chatter around giving stuff up, creating new habits and making goals and resolutions and getting healthy. I was lucky to have a very peaceful couple of weeks over the end of last year, but getting back into the groove this week reminded me how critical my practices for grounding myself are in amongst the chaos and distraction of modern life. I've also sensed quite a bit of edginess out on the streets. So in this short episode I visit the woods and share my sitspot practice, a simple and poweful tool, for reconnecting and grounding yourself. I explain why I do it, how it works, why its useful as a tool to help you feel calm, energised and focussed and how anyone can fit the sitspot into their lives, wherever they live. It also costs nothing. Oh and discover how to give yourself deer ears too. Hope it's useful. If you dig this, check out episode 4 for more sitspot and wellbeing hacks from the woods.https://wildwise.co.uk/ Get full access to Becoming Crew at becomingcrew.substack.com/subscribe
