042 - The Tyranny Of The Weaker Brother
Merry Christmas. JC, Brian, and Nate bring you an incredible episode in the form of a sermon that has impacted their lives in a powerful way.
R. C. Sproul preached a sermon on legalism in 2010 that spells out the different types of legalism faced in churches today. In Romans 14, Paul indicates that serious problems can arise in the church due to the differences between “weaker brothers” and “stronger brothers.” On the one hand, many churches have experienced the “tyranny of the weaker brother,” and fallen into an unbiblical legalism. On the other hand, many “stronger brothers” do not bear with the failings of the weak.
