WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined in-studio by democratic strategist Joe Zepecki and they discussed the what and the why of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Brian Hagedorn's decision to recuse himself on the Act 10 strike down case, if fellow justice Janet Protasiewicz will do the same and if the Act 10 case would be decided before or after the upcoming Supreme Court election in April.
Steve asked Joe what certain industries liker agricultural would do if there were no migrant workers to do them. Joe answered with prices going up. Steve then challenged Joe on immigration policy and a debate ensued between them.
Steve and Joe continued the conversation on immigration policy and Joe Zepecki brought up an article from The Guardian about the Uihlein family’s contradictory actions on immigration. They also discussed the January 6th rioter pardons from U.S. President Donald Trump.
Steve and Joe talked about Trump’s press conference from the previous day regarding the aircraft collision at Reagan International Airport in Washington, D.C. and him blaming alleged Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hires.
Next, they discussed Trump’s executive orders and the U.S. Supreme Court’s role and his cabinet in it.
