WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined in-studio by former Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Mary Kuhnmuench. They began by discussing the curious case and saga of former Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman and his fruitless investigation of finding fraud during the 2020 election. Mary also talked about the true meaning behind the phrase “activist judge”.
Steve asked Judge Kuhnmuench about what the Gableman case meant in the long run as well as the appropriateness of his law license getting revoked for three years as a result of the fiasco.
Wrapping up the Gableman conversation, they discussed people potentially losing faith in the judicial system.
Steve next asked Judge Kuhmuench some questions from the talk and text line, including one about U.S. President Donald Trump attacking lawyers and law firms that challenge him and the role that the United States Supreme Court could play in all this.
