Turning 40, Feeling Safe, Raising Your Vibration (The Velvet)

In a recorded phone call between friends, Kelly and author, Melody Godfred, dive into a range of topics from overwhelm, defeat, the messiness of self love, finding uniqueness and authenticity and even The Kardashians. Kelly tells Melody why she has struggled in her own journey with self love: "I've left myself so many times after the moment I 'decided' I wanted to love myself." Melody explains that she is "embracing the fact that I am a complex person. The more we try to control, the more our ego feels safe, but our authentic self is the exact opposite."  They also discuss the ways that they are finding feelings of safety in the current climate and in a culture that just simply does not feel save. Pre-order Melody's new book 'The Shift' here: The Shift  Socials: @melodygodfred Follow Velvet's Edge on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/velvetsedge/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Power of Letting Go, Heaven That Comes After Hell & Accepting That Loss Isn't The End of The World

Kelly talks to Master Astrologer, Marvin Wilkerson about the path of Pluto that began in 2020. They discuss the space that losing something leaves in our lives and how the universe uses that emptiness to restructure and build something much more magnificent than we could have ever imagined. Marv explains why the only way out of the "throws of hell" is to surrender and let go. "The more we let our ego fight what is happening, the more pain we put ourselves through."  He also demonstrates the power of Pluto transformation via a timeline of Kelly's life story.  Email: marvin@astromarv.comWebsite: astromarv.com Follow Velvet's Edge on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/velvetsedge/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
