EP- 74 Pivot Your Career + Get Paid to Do What You Love!
how to master the pivot in your career: -what would make you feel 100% fulfilled in life? build that purpose driven -be patient and see the light the color in this very black and white world - let's set up with three goals- write them down and stick to them- what are the things that you love doing that do not feel like work that you love doing? - focus on those, volunteer, intern and learn more skills in that field. - live in more moral integrity: do not scam others to get ahead and do not lie or be dishonest to get ahead: do not speak poorly about others. be honest, be good, be kind. Trust it built over time - be patient -look around at where you can volunteer? - build your resume while you are looking for a job. Pay your dues, get experience and work your own way up the ladder. - revisit books you love by those you admire most, you will learn so much from their own path: Bourdain, Marianne Williamson, Michael Singer - map out goals and emulate from others who have been successful before you - be patient: months, years, in some cases you may have to create your own career path - Pitch your own proposals, create the work: for books, shows, media, audible etc. You will hear NO most of the time, keep going... -find a woman you admire: write to her, tell her you are grateful and ask her who is hiring!? Be kind, be sweet - honey attracts the bees - be patient, build, and let go of expectation - you can do this girl! xx ck we are hiring: resume & cover letter: info@candicekumai.com

EP-73 How to Handle Your Triggers
How can we be better? By learning to self soothe our own emotions.. and we are completely self aware of them Emotional Intelligence: manage your own emotions in positive ways or to understand others emotions in positive ways: How can we better soothe our own triggers -- by being more self aware & by serving others, pay attention to the present moment & do the work to understand your triggers - they come from your past.
work with kindness, compassion and empathy - be aware of others and the present moment - not just yourself
each of us can do our own part - small habits turn into big changes
the truth will give you the most freedom - don't allow others pain to penetrate you
if you are able to help other women .. volunteer at Girl UP and the UN Foundation, The Salvation Army
pray for them - every roadblock is there for a greater lesson, triggers do hurt - but dont let your past or other people make you feel so small.
nobody should have to make another feel less than to make themselves feel more than, the math just won't add up.

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."
—Marianne Williamson - she's my all time fave xx ck
