Steven Taylor talk about the psychology of pandemics

Today we get to talk to Steven Taylor, Ph.D., who is a Professor and Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Taylor’s work focuses on anxiety disorders and related clinical conditions, and on the psychology of pandemics. He has authored over 300 scientific publications and more than 20 books, which have been translated into several languages. But today we are going to talk to him about his most recent book, published a few weeks before the outbreak of COVID-19: The psychology of pandemics: Preparing for the next global outbreak of infectious disease. Dr. Taylor is a member of the Canadian federal government’s expert panel on COVID-19, and a co-leader of the Psychology of Pandemics Network.
