Today, Pastor Jack teaches in this parable, that Jesus’ desire is for us to have unity and joy through Him. The Good Shepherd’s desire is for us to be found by Him.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches that God’s grace and concern for His sheep shows His favor for us. His favor is immeasurable and limitless, and He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches that God’s concern for us is unquestionable. And, just as sheep are easily overwhelmed, and tend to collapse under pressure, we too need God to see us through.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that the existence of sheep defies explanation. They don’t do well on their own, especially when they wander away. Just as sheep are 100% dependent on the shepherd for survival, we are 100% dependent on God.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches that just as a shepherd cares for his sheep individually, Jesus, The Good Shepherd sees us as lost sheep and His compassion over each and every one of us is personal.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that a Christian is salty by allowing the power of Jesus to always flow out of us. And, if we see ungodliness and wickedness, then we must do all we can to stop its poisoning effect.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that, as Christians, God calls us the salt of the earth, and if we stay pure, we will have great results. But, if we fall away, and allow the world to get into us, our compromise will leave us barren, and without effect.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that the preserving power of the Christian has great purpose. We can have an effect in any and every culture, physically, morally and most of all spiritually. 

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that anyone who doesn’t accept God’s invitation to be with Him in Heaven, will not be forced to do so. Heaven is a place of joy, life, and perfection, not a place of griping and whining because someone doesn’t want to be there.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches that our God is generous beyond our imagination. He wants us with Him in Heaven. But, if we think we have eternal life through self-righteousness, like the religious leaders of Jesus’ day, we are mistaken. We must come to Him leaving our excuses behind.
