In this episode I talked with Dr. Dale Ahlquist. Dr. Ahlquist is the co-founder of Chesterton Academy, the President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, and the creator and host of the EWTN series “G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense.” He is known as the world leading expert on G.K. Chesterton and is the author of the commentary on Chesterton’s book, The Everlasting Man.In our conversation we talked about how The Everlasting Man was the book that converted C.S. Lewis to Christianity, and why Lewis said that this book put forth the best explanation of Christianity that he had ever read. We discussed Chesterton’s intellectual ability despite his dropping out of college and never pursuing a higher education. In this episode I talked with Dr. John M. Owen, the Ambassador Henry J. and Mrs. Marion R. Taylor Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia. He is also the author of a book called, The Ecology of Nations, and he is the recent recipient of the 2025 Grawemeyer Award for World Order. In this episode I had the opportunity to sit down with Tammy Peterson. Tammy, as you may know, is the wife of Dr. Jordan Peterson and the host of The Tammy Peterson Podcast. Back in September of last year Tammy and I did a podcast in which we discussed the carnivore diet, Capitalism, and the differences between Protestantism and Catholicism. In this episode I talked with Dr. Graham Cole. Dr. Cole is dean emeritus and professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is also the author of many books including Theological Method: An Introduction, He Who Gives Life, and Engaging with the Holy Spirit. Tim Mahoney, founder of Thinking Man Films, teams up with Stephen Meyer, an advocate for intelligent design at the Discovery Institute, and Robert P. George, a Princeton jurisprudence professor. They challenge common beliefs, asserting that the American Revolution was driven by a Providential God rather than just Enlightenment ideals. Daniel Taylor (Ph.D., Emory University) is the author of eighteen books, including The Myth of Certainty, Letters to My Children, Tell Me A Story: The Life-Shaping Power of Our Stories, Creating a Spiritual Legacy, The Skeptical Believer: Telling Stories to Your Inner Atheist and four novels, Death Comes for the Decontructionist, Do We Not Bleed?, Woe to the Scribes and Pharisees, and The Mystery of Iniquity . He has also worked on a number of Bible translations. He speaks frequently at conferences, colleges, retreats, and churches on a variety of topics. Dr. Taylor is also co-founder of The Legacy Center, an organization devoted to helping individuals and organizations identify and preserve the values and stories that have shaped their lives.
