Daily Stock Picks

What a bloodbath yesterday, but this creates opportunities.  $OXY - earnings tonight - buy it under $60 $TSLA - slowing down Shanghai plant - but under $1k - buy iit.  $NVDA - $170 is the pivot here, but I think anything under $180 is an absolute buy. The forward PE is less that Clorox! Which grows more?  $LNG $ENB $EQT $PXD $SHEL $CVX - all energy plays that are trades here.  $SPG earnings were GREAT! Earnings good, guidance good and raised dividend - triple play! You can still own it here at $120 and enjoy the dividend.  $AEP is interesting - I'll research it more but they have the largest wind farm in the US.  $CLF - moving under $20 - wait to buy it - but it's looking good.  $QCOM - great to own it here. Crazy good valuation  $AMD - great to own under $90 - I love it there.  $PTON - got killed and is starting to recover on earnings.  $FB - under $200 - get it.  $DAC $ZIM $SBLK - all shippers with earnings coming up.  $UPS $FDX - great plays now too $FCX - beaten down on earnings - might be good later $TWTR - at $47 - deal will go through at $54.20 - good opportunity.  $ATVI - at $77 - $95 offer from $MSFT will go through. 

With stocks being beaten down, which stocks are a buy right now?  $OXY reports tomorrow - I like this one. Energy companies have killed it on earnings and this one should have a very good quarter.  $SPG reports today - I like this one as it's gone down and is at it's pre pandemic level right now. You still have a 5% dividend while you wait for the market to turn around.  $UVXY should be your play upon validation and confirmation!  $GBTC - not a buy but if you want to play some options, you could do $BITO. I think Bitcoin still has a good leg down.  $AAPL is in the most active in premarket - which NEVER happens.  $UCO hit $180 on Friday. You'll see this go to $190 at some point once China demand ramps up again.  $BRK.B - if you want one that should end the year a winner, I think Berkshire will  $TSLA - under $1k it's a buy. It's a sell in the algo today (my guess), but I still like this one.  $LNG - Nat Gas will continue to soar.  $DVN - still love this name

$UVXY is your play today with a Friday sell off likely. Yesterday you made 20% on that. Buy companies with good earnings that are increasing revenues - like energy.  $DVN is up 20% from Monday. $AMD is up since Monday. There are stocks in this market to buy, but your time horizon matters.  I went over very few stocks today because I feel $UVXY is the way to go if you're trading today. Investing - just wait for some confirmation the sell off is at least easing. A Friday with a war going on a huge sell offs on previous Fridays does NOT indicate a good time to buy for long term. 

Yesterday's rally was CRAZY right at 2:20pm with Jay Powell taking a 3/4 point hike in June off the table - but IMO he kicked the can down the road.  The hat trick: $DVN - up 20% on my Monday buy $AMD - a 10% pop from where I said to buy it Tuesday (Monday would have been a better buy when I mentioned it, but I missed it since I already have a stake in $AMD) $ET or $TWLO - both of these shot up on at least 10% from where I said to buy. $TWLO was just NUTS and a great trade opportunity.  $SEDG - I like this name to trade  $QCOM - they secured Volkswagen deal - HUGE for the stock. Buy around $140.  $CRWD $ZS $PANW - not buys in the algo yet, but they should be before earnings. I still like these stocks.  $SPG - buy it before earnings next week $SNOW - I like it at these levels -  I should have sold it for 20% profit and bought it back lower again, but I didn't. I like it to run to $220 again.  $FB - wait for it under $200 again $ATVI - $95 buy from $MSFT - Buffet believes it'll go through.  $OXY - Buffet buys more MANG is the new FANG - $MSFT $AAPL $NVDA $GOOG $GOOGL $TWTR - Elon secured funding - stock under $50 is a buy for the $54.20 purchase. Also $TSLA stock is a buy now that it's unlevered from $TWTR buy.  $SHOP - clearly a broken business like $AMZN $SPY is a buy in the algo  $UCO is going to $190. 

I missed my hat trick because $MRNA reported before the bell and of course hyped up 10%. The algo had a buy in at $141 in the afternoon candle yesterday and it's trading at $156 pre market.  But I do have 3 plays that could hit with earnings today as well.  $MAR - reported and blew it away saying they may restart the stock repurchase plan soon. Travel stocks are good - buy ones that make money and have lower costs.  $LYFT - reported - higher costs and brought down forward guidance. KILLED along with $UBER - I'm not touching either of them.  $SNOW $FB $MSFT - Brad Gerstner plays - love all 3 at these levels.  $CRWD $PANW $ZS - all 3 are must owns in a portfolio at these levels.  $F - no longer a hype play with potential recession. I'll keep an eye on it, but it's not going back to $20.  $BAC and $WFC are best financials IMO.  $UCO - oil is back up and rising - all energy plays should be buys at levels you're comfortable with.  Fed meeting at 2pm could move the market either way.  Earnings plays today - $TWLO $ETSY $ET We are 2 for 2 this week with $DVN and $AMD earnings plays. 

$AMD reports earnings today and I think they are a good gamble. The algo has a buy at $88.56 so try and get it at that price.  $DVN had good earnings and increased their dividend so if you followed me on Twitter, you came close to timing the bottom. You can take profits or hold this one IMO.  $SPG - not quite a buy but I do like this stock before earnings $MOS $NTR $CRK - all agriculture stocks that are good on pullbacks IMO going in to a food shortage that might happen later this year.  $CF is probably the best opportunity with earnings coming this week and an algo buy in at $97.07 $UNH - good to get on a pullback - but not a buy yet on the algo  $QCOM - great buy around $140 - you can try and time it or just buy it - low multiple, good dividend and great future growth  $ABBV - huge run from $100 - $160 earlier this year. Give it time to pullback but I do like this stock as a mainstay in a portfolio $ATVI - deal with $MSFT is at $95 - trading at $78 - if you think the deal will get through regulatory hurdles - buy it just like you buy $TWTR under $54.20 $BOIL is going crazy with nat gas  $ZIM $MATX and $STNG are Tom's buys - I still like $ZIM for maybe announcing another dividend - they paid $17 last time.  $PARA - 6 million adds - shows that $NFLX was a unique issue only for Netflix. Stock is down and I wouldn't add it. 

Sell in May and go away is still NOT the strategy even though April was a bloodbath.  Here are a few ideas: Monday Earnings - $DVN and $MOS Tuesday Earnings - $AMD  Wednesday Earnings - $MRNA Thursday Earnings - $COP - $ZTS is a maybe if you want to take a chance Friday Earnings - $UA  $ATVI - Buffet bought more - $75/share when $MSFT deal is at $95 - buy it with the upside if you think the deal will go through.  $CVX - Buffet bought more  $UCO will be down with China shutdowns, but oil does go higher over time.  $AAPL - it's a sell right now and the monthly chart looks CRAZY - but still a good buy long term  $AMZN - I'm concerned about this one and it's a sell in the algo  $GOOG - I bought more - but it is a sell right now in the algo  $NFLX - I don't own and wouldn't buy based on my personal usage, but it's a buy at $197 in the algo  $MSFT - it's a sell in the algo  Buffet's advice - be fearful when others are greedy (we've been in that market) and be greedy when others are fearful (that's the market we are going in to).  You can't time the market so buy when you think the price/value is there. It's your hard earned money so don't waste it. 

$FB blew away expectations and demonstrated they have ways around IOS privacy concerns for advertisers so the stock shot up almost 20%. You can still get it at some point under $200 but trade this one around that price point.  $QCOM - record earnings - record demand and solid dividend at a very low multiple. Get in this stock around $140 and ride it.  $SPG - not a cross up yet, but I like this one in to earnings.  $MSFT cross up at $288.  Shippers look good - $ZIM had a cross up and looks solid. $DAC has upside before earnings.  $CLF - the drop is an opportunity, but not yet. Be patient.  $F - hype rally - anything near $14 - buy in for a pop ARK funds - I'm getting out completely. The miss in $TDOC earnings and the fact they loaded up on it 2 days before makes me question their methods on stock picking right now. Good strategy - wrong time.  $NVDA - trade around the $190 price point. Below buy - above sell for profits.  $AAPL earnings tonight - like I said - pick it up below $160 and 2 years from now you'll be happy. Always be adding to this position - own it don't trade it. 

Yesterday was an absolute mess. Earnings that came out after the market were mixed so there's no real firm direction in the market. Mike Wilson of Morgan Stanley said he thinks the S&P is going to 3800 which is another 20% down. He's been saying this all through the bull markets though so take that with a grain of salt.  $MSFT earnings - KILLER - buy this under $300 now. This is the ONLY stock that has proof that it's undervalued with current earnings.  $GOOGL earnings - they were good except for Youtube falling short and European war that's been hurting them. Buy it around $2300 for the consumer push forward in the next quarter. This is a long term so position size correctly.  $AAPL - I can't tell you to play earnings on this based on mixed tech results. Texas Instruments $TXM said they were hurt by a chinese manufacturing slow down. That doesn't bode well for Apple on Thursday. Europe doesn't bode well for Apple on Thursday and finally the year over year comps they have may be difficult so I would wait for earnings rather than playing them. You may have a chance to get Apple around $140 if they project some mixed results.  $V - announced the consumer is super strong.  $UVXY and $SVXY is the way to play the market. We could end up huge today or down huge today. Trade the direction.  Nat Gas stocks should fly with Putin pulling back energy from Europe. $UCO under $150 is a good deal for a short term rally in oil that I think will absolutely come.  While it's not a buy in the algo, $SPG I think is a great play for a bounce with their earnings. 

$UPS reported earnings and pointed out a strength in both package volume and pricing power in the US. This is good for shippers.  $MSFT and $GOOGL $GOOG report earnings this afternoon. I think these are buy and hold stocks even at these levels.  $AAPL reports on Thursday. I like it under $160.
