Daily Stock Picks

$FANG and $SLB both increased their dividends and are pulling back with energy. I like these at lower prices.  $JETS - at some point the airlines get it right and this looks to be an opportunity for a move up.  $CLF - love this one down here. I think it's poised to make a move, but the algo doesn't have a buy on it yet.  $AAPL - I think this wants to move to $115 (which kills me), but the algo did trigger a buy yesterday. I'm just not convinced it's a big move yet.  $SNAP - this might make a move based on unusual options activity $TGT - reiterated their 2nd half big recovery - I really like it at these levels, but this market is not investable right now IMO $XLE $XLF - I like both of these.  $SQQQ and $SPXU are where you should be buying  $MULN - short squeeze again  $TSLA - buy it under $700 again  $IMPP - looks like it's lost it's retail interest $REV - crazy on how this bankruptcy is sending this higher. I think it's got more room to run, but DO NOT buy and hold this one. Trade it. 

There's still downside in this market so trade it - don't invest in it.  Mike Wilson (analyst) thinks the S&P has 3,000 as a level vs. going back to 4,000. If you agree, $SPXU is your play. He thinks the pullback is just on P/E multiples - the recession hasn't been priced in yet.  Crypto over the weekend sank - still not a bottom IMO - but trading it may be a good idea. A new short fund tracking bitcoin is $BITI Oil - up based on tight supply. $DVN under $60 again. $FANG is way oversold  $K splitting in to 3 companies - up 12% YTD. Food shortages are coming - packaged food stocks most likely will go up.  Airlines are blaming pilot shortages for canceled flight, but this will mean higher prices.  Some MAcD cross ups that might be good trades: $ARKG $PTON $MTTR $KREF $UNH - I like this one as an investment - but this market is not currently long term investable. 

While on my cruise, I had a discussion with an economist who's very bearish about the economy. He validated my views on oil and the pending food shortages. I also talk about some of my investments that have gotten hit down - $DVN and $OXY being 2. Rebalancing will be necessary, but make sure you're using tax advantaged accounts like a Roth IRA or a Traditional IRA. Live off the brokerage account and trading, but make sure you're optimizing those based on your age.  Hit me up with any questions you may have. 

$UVXY was a big winner yesterday and anything short like $SARK $SPXU or $DRV (recommended at $44 and is now $60) are all good options on days that are down.  I wouldn't trade anything you're not sure about in the short term or happy holding long term in this market. Tomorrow's Fed decision is worth waiting for and trading around.  2 new high dividend payers to look at $CEQP and $KREF $SPY level of support is $340 so we probably have more downside to go.  $ORCL - crazy good cloud revenues - trade around the $70 price point - below buy - above sell  $DVN is still my fav energy play with their dividend and purchases

$UVXY is just an example of when things go down, you can trade and make money. $SVXY is probably the play in the market where any reaction is an over reaction in the market. Both of these should NOT be held long term. Trade them.  $DRV is a short ETF on the housing market and since I've updated on this one it's gone from $44 to $56 in 1 week.  $IMPP is up at $1 - it's a Wall Street bets favorite of the $GME or $AMC crowd with energy.  Oil is down because of fears of another Chinese lock down. Remember - buy on the pullbacks.  $TSLA under $700 again - buy in small increments. They will split 3-1 as shareholders will approve.  $RDBX is up at $18 now - crazy squeeze on this one.  Bitcoin and all crypto are crashing and major trading platforms are limiting selling because of the instability. There's more downside to go.  $COOP - it's a mortgage servicing company. They aren't in refinancing - just servicing. Leon Cooperman is a fan as are a few analysts I follow. It's an interesting play, but I'm not in it.  Yields are inverting again.  $BRKB is an interesting opportunity trading at the levels it was at all of 2021.  Analysts are suggesting S&P will trade down - if it breaks the 3800 that I thought was the trading range on the close, I do think we go towards 3200.  $UBER is a buy from a lot of folks. I'm not a big believer though, but under $20 I like it.  In these times, short ETF's like $SARK, $SPXU and $SQQQ are good tools.  $GOF - I like this - 12% yield and pays monthly. 

Inflation is still rising - stock market is tanking this morning.  $SARK took off when it was announced - short ETF's are a great tool to try and leverage or try and limit your downside on long stock positions.  $DRV is taking off like the algo thought it would  $NFLX - if they fix their shared passwords issue - this stock will soar. It's now in value range like $META $IMPP - energy Wall Street bets stock - should see more hype $TQQQ - great if every reaction is an overreaction - use this one to trade - don't "own" this one.  $BAC - under $40 is still a buy $DOCU - killed on earnings - still stay away from this name even if you use it alot  $KWEB - China ETF - great tool to play China names  $UNG - under $30 - buy it $KOLD - $BOIL - great volatility  $UVXY - Vix is going to 30 - play this one $UNH is a good buy here

Cramer says buy $UBER - I think Inverse Cramer is better $GS $AXP $UNH all dragged yesterday - I'll watch them $TWTR providing Musk data - $TSLA stock upgraded by UBS - Buy $TSLA and nibble on $TWTR since deal is at $54.20 $ATVI - deal with $MSFT at $95 - should go through with $MSFT pushing more gaming through Samsung TV's $UCO - WOW! Buy around $55 $MPC $MPLX $XOM $CVX $DVN $OXY $PXD - all of these energy names are holds - pullbacks can initiate new positions, but all of these are crazy high on RSI and MacD.  $ROCC and $CRC are small caps - both look like they've run but look to buy on pullbacks $IMPP - hype play that could lead to gains in energy $BOIL and $KOLD - buy $KOLD - it'll run $TGT increases their dividend - the stock pullback is temporary $GOOG and $GOOGL I like both of them prior to the July 15 split - $AMZN ran up before split so I would assume this one does too $CLF - wait til it hits $20 before earnings - I think it'll be a good one to make 10% on earnings $BABA down on news no Ant Financial IPO. but it's been beaten down so much, I may want to nibble again.  $ZIM and other shippers ($SBLK $EGLE $UPS $FDX $DAC) - they have made their run - with supply chains easing - they will be down. 

$TGT showed that every bad news could be good news yesterday $CVX $MPC $MPLX $XOM $DVN $CTRA $OXY - all energy stocks are doing great $COST - should have bought at $420 - it was a sign  $ROKU - is $NFLX buying them?  $TSLA - when it goes under $700 - buy more $CROWD and $PANW are long term buys and buys - wait for a little pullback but I love both. Add $ZS to the list $EGLE has had quite a run - $ZIM $DAC $UPS $FDX are all good - but shippers might come down here in the near term. $ZIM has a great options play off an article on finviz.com 

I still think shorting the real estate market with $DRV is a good move - just waiting for a buy signal from the algorithm.  Energy - keep looking for pullbacks on $DVN $CVX $XOM $MRO $MPLX - drilling and refining increases take time while demand is going to soar with China opening Inflation number on Friday is key - we will trade in a range until next week with the Fed rate increase. Strategus Rule of 10 - interesting recession indicator along with the 3 other - inversion of rate curve, rates increasing and rising commodities  $TGT - selling their inventories at lower prices will crush margins - they said they will be better later this year - this is a temporary issue on the stock - not permanant  $TSLA - under $700.- buy more  $TWTR - bad move by the Texas AG IMO - Elon most likely would not approve of this.  $AAPL - new MacBooks, new operating systems and a move to BNPL - good move - still love this stock down here.  Scans - $LUV $KHC - both have MacD cross ups - but I'm not convinced either are big movers

I like this idea - using $DRV - a triple levered ETF to try and short a potential housing bubble.  $ARKK is up 20% since May 12 - S&P only 4% - is this a sign of a bottom in ARK funds? $AMZN split today - it's popping because of it.  $DIDI and China stocks way up $TSLA - just buy it - FSD being rolled out to more cars - China reopening - Musk not selling stock to fund $TWTR - all good news $SEDG - Biden easing tariffs on Asia solar - could be a big pop for most companies $MSFT - under $280 buy it $FB - under $200 - buy it $NFLX - it's setting up for a run I think $GOOGL - it's had a good few weeks $TGT - this is a good buy opportunity Oil is up - $DVN $CVX $XOM $MPLX - all energy - demand is outpacing supply  $BAC - under $40 - buy it $UNH - it's a buy $AAPL - WWDC event today - I think under $150 is a buy, but the market does want the multiple to be 17.
