Tesla Earnings - German Nat Gas Pipeline - Market update 7-21-22

I ramble on quite a bit with EU political issues which should drive energy (both oil and specifically nat gas) up.  I also ramble on about how the Nasdaq is down further than the Dow and S&P so the Nasdaq over the last month has been the one bouncing up.  Some stocks I like now $SNAP - earnings tonight $PINS - private equity getting involved $META $QCOM - wow this has taken off from $124 where I didn't think it would stay  $TSLA - my pivot on this remains $700 - it's running today and I sold 1/2 my lot a few weeks ago at $750, but I think it's going back under $700 soon.  $UNH - buy under $500 - it'll go under that $COST - it's been quite a run - I like this stock because the consumer is not weak $M - I like this one still $FCX - looks weak, but could it turn around if copper rises?  $SHOP - earnings are coming up - it's run 10%  $NEM $TDOC - I go over these for the listener Willy who left me a voice message on Anchor.  $FDX - I like it as a turn around, but I think there are more exciting places to put your money $AA - beat on earnings $CCL - $1B stock offering - diluting shares - never good and other travel stocks will suffer $UAL - weak guidance on crappy service which they said will continue. $AAL said the same exact things - travel stocks are down  $CLF - I still like this one - earnings are coming out later $DVN $OXY $FANG $CVX $XOM $MPLX - I still like energy on it's weakness - supply is just not going to increase $T - beat on earnings, but weak guidance - stock going WAY down. $VZ earnings tomorrow - may be an opportunity and I like Verizon more than ATT.  CROSS UPS: $GOOG $GOOGL  $ARKG $DDOG $OKTA Continue to trade $SQQQ $TQQQ $BOIL $KOLD $UCO $SCO $SPXU

Nat Gas and Oil - supply will fall short of demand - Did you make your 10% off Netflix earnings? Market update 7-20-22

The German govt is telling the EU they will have to ration nat gas. This is bullish for $BOIL. Nord Stream pipeline getting turned up now.  $NFLX - if you listened and took the trade - you made 10%. It's coming back down to earth now.  China has warned of Pelosi visit - this is bad.  $GS - you have your 10% by now - you're welcome $GOLD - hasn't moved, but it's still oversold. Since it's a commodity - you should worry if we have a recession ahead.  $DRV - you are out in the algo because of yesterday's big day up. I still hold that this has $50 in it though at some point.  $SPXU $SQQQ $TQQQ $UCO $SCO $BOIL $KOLD - watch the trend on charts to trade these. It's too hard to determine daily trend right now.  Cross ups: $ARKK $ETSY $OXY $ORCL $UPS $T $DIS - I like this here - under $100 buy - over $100 sell for your profits $DVN $XOM $CVX $MPLX $FANG - love the oils still  $CALM - egg producer - not sure of their ethics but I will look in to it. Big earnings this year though.

Single stock ETF's - Netflix earnings - Market is crazy - 7-19-22 Market update

Thank you to all the listeners, reviewers and especially the supporters of the podcast. I love recording these and the feedback you give so I am humbly saying thank you.  Follow me on Instagram (daily.stock.pick) or Twitter (www.twitter.com/dailystockpick3)  I talk about how the S&P is now trading under it's 50 day moving average for 60 days in a row - not seen since 2008. So we are in a prolonged downturn.  $TWTR - lawsuit about the timing of the lawsuit with Elon happens today  $TSLA - triangle pattern - danger may be ahead - or it's a pop - but I would be leaning towards danger. Don't be afraid of missing out - just stay away until we have a direction from earnings.  $AAPL - tanked the market today and showed their hand on earnings IMO. They will slow hiring and spending in 2023. I think them, $IBM $JNJ earnings will all focus on the strong dollar as a weakness in guidance.  $BOIL - slight pullback - but nat gas is still strong.  $UCO will pull back on the daily - but it's still strong.  $TQQQ may be up today - but I do think $SQQQ is your play for a weekly basis.  $NFLX - it's a coin toss but the options market is indicating a 15% move up or down in the stock with earnings. They have enacted a password sharing fee in South America so this may help revenue, but won't help with increasing subs. $NFLX and $ROKU become targets at some point for a larger merger (think $CMCSA or $AAPL)  $IBM - down on free cash flow disappointment  $ETHE way up - almost 30% $BOIL - up 75% with the algo buy in at $43 Single stock ETF's - $TSLQ $NVDS $PYPT $PYPS - interesting but nothing I would trade right now.

Don't sell this rally - should you buy Netflix before earnings? Market update 7-18-22

Tom Lee was on CNBC Friday and said "Don't sell the rally". I'm not sure it's going to be that strong here, but earnings seem to be good.  Covid is back in the news so keep an eye on $MRNA - it's strong now - but look for pullbacks $C was a great call on Friday way up. Still trading at about half of book value - so it's still got room to run.  $BAC earnings - buy under $40 - sell over $40 $XLV $UNH $WGA $CVS - I go over these - but healthcare is a strong sector $UCO - back up - oil is going to be strong here. Remember oil is tied to $DVN $OXY $CVX $XOM $FANG $BOIL has been CRAZY - $KOLD had a great run - now time for Nat Gas to rise in price.  $COST - great retailer - buy under $500 - sell over - $M is a great retailer with earnings coming up $AAPL - great run of recent. It's strong heading in to earnings $NFLX - careful with this one but it might be worth buying before earnings tomorrow.  $TQQQ has been a great trade - I've day traded it. My day trade for a strong market is $TQQQ - for weak markets continue to look at $SPXU $SQQQ $UVXY  $TSLA - under $700 buy - over - sell - upgraded to a buy at $1k price target and Deutche Bank says buy before earnings on Wednesday $TWTR - I like the risk going in to the court case $ORCL - strong steady tech between $70 and $90 $CLF - close to $15 again - I like it heading in to earnings but costs could kill this $OXY - is Buffett going to take this private?  $GOEV - hype play  $GS - should have gotten it under $300 at book value $NVDA - always a good time to buy for long term $GOOG - split went through - 20-1 - look for short term pop

Free online tools that teach stock chart reading and fundamentals. Plus my stock yesterday paid off! - 7/15/22 Market update

I go over all the places on YouTube that I trust to learn about stock charts and fundamentals.  1) Ziptrader 2) Trendspider U 3) Trading Rush Mac D 4) Focus on RSI, SMA vs. EMA, MacD and later identifying pattersn 5) Develop your own style that you feel comfortable with and try back testing (using Trendspider - sign up through my pinned tweet and support the podcast)  Oil is back in play - $JPM thinks it's $120 soon because of supply  Oil wholesale is back to pre Ukraine war prices - but prices at the pump are not - seems like a global crisis - it will go back up with supply shortening and gas stations are reluctant to reduce the price. $UCO is a good play $OXY - Buffett keeps buying - even at the $60 price  $DVN $XOM $CVX $FANG all have had dips that IMO are buys $WMB - has a 5% yield  $WFC - got beat down by earnings - but Stephanie Link likes it  $MU - great run so far - I think it has $66 if it closes above $60 $BAC - Karen Finermans biggest holding - I like it but it may get beaten down if earnings are as bad as other banks $TQQQ - made money yesterday - looking for more today  $UNH - beat earnings - still has some left in the tank, but don't be greedy $META $GOOG $AAPL - all good long term buys here $TSLA - above $700 again - look to sell if it runs $RIO - get out while you can - this was my mistake $SPXU - good because I do think the market will trend down from here $SQQQ - I'm not buying this just yet - wait for a bad earnings Nasdaq company - then pounce $UVXY - still think the vix goes to 30  $GOEV - this is complete hype - don't hold it over the weekend  $PINS - Elliot Management is now in - look for continued shareholder value in this

Even when the market is down - trade your way up with inverse ETF's - Market update 7-14-22

Use ETF's like $SPXU $SQQQ $UVXY when the market is down and $TQQQ when the market is up.  $TSLA under $700 again and is back over it.  $CLF - get it with the $14 handle  $JPM - missed on earnings - mainly on investment banking - down big $MS - was down big - missed on investment banking as well - semi recovered $QCOM - great trade so far  $TWTR - looks interesting with their response to Elon $APPH - I like it with the $2 handle before earnings $NFLX - looks interesting if they immediately move everyone to an ad based tier and increase the cost of ad free $DRV - people are holding off on buying real estate - this one is a great tool  Cross ups $HES - it had a cross over the other day - it's oil and earnings are coming up - it's a commodity that's under pressure so it's risky $CLX - with Covid coming back, this might be a good investment - but it's had quite a run. May need a rest.

Inflation just killed the market so where can you invest? Market update 7-13-22

Ray Daleo of Bridgewater Capital Hedge fund - they are up 32% YTD which is incredible. ZipTrader Charlie went over his strategy on his video last night - great video and you should watch it.  $BABA - his largest holding $PG is also a large holding - he has large positions in Mega Value (under 17PE) and tons of small positions in medium companies.  $TSLA - under $700 - start buying again $SARK - cross up on the algo - buy it because the ARK funds have been up 20% in the month of June - this is due for a run $TGT and $LOW are still great values here with good dividends while you wait for this to settle down.  $NVDA - get it in the $140's and sit and wait $SPXU $SQQQ $SARK are all great hedges to trade  $TQQQ - get it under $25 because it's going back to $28 $UVXY - still like this to go to $16 soon - the VIX is at 26 and is going to 30.  $APPH - love the business - hate the stock. It's got some catalysts, but if you have gains - take them (that's the overall theme in this market) $GOEV - Canoo - down after the hype run of yesterday $CLF - get it under $15 today heading in to earnings $GS - under $300 is good - it's trading at book value $UCO - $SCO has been the play - I still say oil will have it's day when supply is an issue $BOIL - Nat Gas is exploding again $PXD - $CVX - $XOM - $OXY - $DVN - I think energy earnings will drive these stocks up and potential special dividends with windfalls $AXP - still like this one here - Delta just said business travel was up 20% in the quarter $NFLX - you're out of this one in the algo - but I am starting to think a crackdown on password sharing is a good sign for the stock $PTON - you're out of it but I love the app $TWTR - I think Musk will be forced to buy, but this is a HUGE gamble on a stock that will be in the $20 range with earnings coming up $DRV - love this - a buy in the algo  $UNH - under $500 - buy it before earnings

Technical difficulties today so a short podcast - Market update 7-12-22

I recorded an entire podcast this morning and then found out my computer hard drive has crashed so I had to re record it and I've spent 5 hours. Here are my notes that I read off of .... I'm going back to trying to troubleshoot.  Will the courts hold Musk to his $54.20 price for Twitter? Maybe it’s worth putting some money in because it’s not going to zero. $Fcx and other commodities near 52 week lows HPQ DRV cross up at $48.79 - posted on twitter Estimated taxes for all my fellow contract workers.. if you have suggestions, let me know. I won’t make enough money this year to actually pay them, but with increased work I may have to in the future. Stephanie Link thinks UNH beats earnings China’s lockdowns are going to be a key …. China stocks got hit Risk in $TSLA shares - earnings and how BAD TSLA traded on this day with no news or anything - it’s simply multiple. Twitter… I’m going to say the ONLY reason to buy Twitter now is if you think Elon is actually going to buy it. IT’s got way more downside than upside but you could “bet” on it if you want. The upside could be big. Nflx - ceo Ted Sarandos says 1 sub equals 5 users … this could be huge for valuation if they crack down on passwords White House says elevated cpi inflation number …. That’s a .75 hike by fed going in to October then Apph stock for Instagram Oil is sliding again on China lockdowns and fear of demand slide Heath row in London is now capping passengers to 100k per day on departing passengers because of under resourced airlines … this is what jay Powell would love to kill demand … it’s in place until sept 11 Canoo with Walmart to buy 4500 trucks with option to buy 10k more as they go carbon neutral by 2040 Peloton will no longer make their bikes and treadmills … they will outsource on contract basis … I love the app so much more than apple fitness and others PepsiCo destroys earnings …. They are driving cost out of thr business they said Look at coke back PepsiCo stock - cfo on cnbc said news article on chips taken out of bag was wrong … he said they do alter some package sizes instead of raising price Prices up 12% for the quarter which he said is less than inflation He said packaging, shipping and vegetable oil and all oils are driving prices up Again … anything he says is already priced in the market Supply chain still not fixed … he said they are at an 8 out of 10 and they r not back to where they were prepandemic Pepsi Cfo said recession is likely here for a couple of years Axp - J.P. Morgan said recession not priced in to stock - fill gap at $150 Bitcoin under $20k again Tsla Spxu Sqqq Sark Tqqq - may turn quick Today may be bullish after fed speak Valero Energy Corporation $VLO trading in bullish territory, one can look to go long on this counter at current levels and can be bought in dips till $100. Stock’s strength can lead to $127. Any close below $95 acts as stoploss Puru on Twitter says oil and energy just starting the decline and commodities are based on the recession fears Apple lowered trade in prices indicating strong iPhone demand … this could be a positive to the stock on earnings with guidance 28 days in a row here in the us gas prices have gone down AEP and DUK - Utilities crossed up on the MacD NVDA - cross up at $157 - still good at the $150 price range Twitter - sent letter to Musk - this is ugly and if you want to bet on it - bet on it - but it’s just a loss for everyone. I think Elon wants the company but the stock most likely will flounder

Covid, Oil and a cross up I like as much as my Oracle call - long market update 7-11-22

I talk about how $SPY has had quite a few double bottoms on this bear market run and we may have just seen the double bottom and may have another leg down from here.  A couple of things I go over for a while: Oil - Helema Croft said oil is only staying down because of recession fears. Once Nordstream1 comes back on July 21 and Russia doesn't pump oil along with December sanctions - oil will go back up because there's just no increase in supply coming. $UCO had a cross up and I like it here.  Covid - New York Times and Gottlieb think Covid will come back in the fall. Europe and China will most likely have shut downs, but B5 is more contagious and immunity may be waning. Trade $MRNA and $NVAX - but they've had their runs. $PFE is a solid play but Covid doesn't move this as much as the others.  $VTI $SCHD $VOO - these are all great long term ETF's that alot of very wealthy people own. They have been discussed in www.longangle.com forums many times.  $DRV - I still like this short - macD cross up $CLF - I like this with the $15 mark  $UNH - I still like this in to earnings Cross Ups $BTU $EGLE $SBLK $NTR $HPQ - I love this one going in to earnings $HES - I really like this too $RDBX $USO $GS  $TSLA $TQQQ $BOIL $PXD $DVN $OXY $FANG $SQQQ $SPXU $SARK

One stock that Morgan Stanley thinks is under valued ? Market update 7-8-22

Jobs reports came in strong bouncing yields in the bond market and hitting growth stocks with fears that maybe the Fed will have to continue to raise rates and tighten. September is going to be key with the big amount of selling the Fed will do of their assets.  $CLF - still like it at $15 handle  $GS - over $300 and I like them going in to earnings - won't go back to $400 anytime soon, but I do think $330 could be in the cards.  $UCO - strong demand - weak supply  $TQQQ - I like this if you think the S&P has 4,000 in it like Carter Worth does $TSLA - wrapped up in $TWTR deal - I would sell over $700 still  $BOIL - strong moves in energy and this is running.  $PXD - oil still will run $DVN - strong - but no catalyst until earnings - still an 8% yield on a major stock  $OXY - if Buffett is still buying, under $60 get it - over $60 - sell it - but I like it to buy and hold here too.  $FANG - energy is still strong  $NVDA and other chips were up as well as $QCOM $Evfm - ziptrader pick - June 27th pick tan from $.60 to $1.54 and is pulling back now . Birth control gel about an hour before u knock boots that’s hormone free - so if you haven’t been screwed by the market enough … go and find yourself someone who … never mind Roe vs wade pushed this one up and it may have more room to run It’s now been zero copay under aca insurance The patent is tight and shouldn’t have competitors Honestly the hype from zip trader may move it Valuation - loses money so it’s not a fundamental play … so it’s a trade .. not buy and hold … the fundamentals suck $UPST - won’t hit q2 and stock tanks … i warned about this Wp says elon $TWTR deal on jeapordy … nobody else wants this company so it might be negotiating - Twitter stock could crater so maybe buy some put options Carter worth of worth charting thinks we have more legs on this run … infilled gap at 4020 $SPY He thinks Bitcoin from a chart perspective has found a floor and will bounce $Xpo logistics may be too cheap Theranos - sunny bulwani guilty … if you watched dropout or the documentary on hbo then let’s just hope Elizabeth Holmes is also thrown in jail Recession may be held off just because of the employment numbers Jobs are steadily growing … wage growth down but still elevated
