Daily Stock Picks

The worst start to the year since 1970 - good news if you're a fan of history for the 2nd half of the year.  I continue to say you should be in $SPXU $SQQQ and $UVXY  Be careful with commodities with fear of recession.  Some new dividend plays discussed: $GTY - 6% dividend  $IRM - 5% dividend  $MPW - 8% dividend  $O - 4% dividend  $SPG - 7% dividend  $VICI - 5% dividend $WPC - 5% dividend  I think great long term values are $LOW and $TGT with great dividends along the way  $RIO $DVN $CVX $XOM $CLF $LNG and other commodities may be hurt by the fears of a recession  $NVDA under $150 is a great option here too  $BAC - could it go under $30? $SARK - I like this one more than the $ARKK Heading in to a long weekend - be careful 

I go over a TON of stocks on this one as it's long, but remember what I recommend. $SPXU $SQQQ $SARK $UVXY.  $BRK.B $PAA $CTO - 7% dividend yields $MCD $UNH led the dow yesterday  $UPST - no longer one of my favorites  $NVDA - I love this one here, but I fear you've got a little more downside. Don't time it for long term though - get it under $150 if you can.  $TSLA - under $700 - but I feel the delivery number may be light so don't load up before that comes out.  $CLF - commodities like iron ore worry me - I still think their earnings are going to be a catalyst  $ENPH - I like this one as it's been beaten down.  $RH - consumers are weak now - brought down guidance and tanked all retail $XRT may be a good opportunity but I still like $M $BITI - short Bitcoin - more downside $BHAT and $REV may be done with as far as runs, but day trading is a good opportunity  $FANG $MPC $OXY $DVN $UCO $XOM $CVX $XLE - I think long side energy is still the right play  $AMD - I like this with the forward PE so low $SBUX - with China opening and a dividend increase - this may be a good time to get back in  $HD $TGT $WMT $LOW all high yields and good upside for 2nd half $MSFT $AAPL $AMZN $GOOG $META $NFLX - I like these for 2nd half - specifically $GOOG $NLY - 14% yield - interesting here $AA $BMRN $DDOG $XM 

I contend that we are in a trading range of 3,000 to 3800 on S&P - that would mean we are just going down. There really isn't good news in the market and there's going to be more downside. I think we go to 3,000 as the earnings revisions are brought down through mid July with maybe a stop at 3500. I think $SPXU, $SQQQ and $UVXY are good for swing trades.  $DAL and $TSLA indicate to me that we are going to have a travel nightmare this weekend.  $TSLA also at the delivery center yesterday - there was no hype and no energy. Look for it to go towards low $600's here.  $DRV - short real estate - I like this one long too.  $RIO - MacD Cross up - commodities have been crushed  $DVN - above $60 so look for weakness to sell.  $MU on earnings - I'm less hyped on it. I have a fear they will bring guidance down.  $UCO - I like this to $55  $CVX - Cross up $XOM - Cross up $OXY - be careful and look for weakness to sell  $OAS - cross up  $FANG - cross up $PXD - cross up $MPC - cross up $QCOM - $AAPL failed at 5G chips and will have to resign the contract with $QCOM - big news  $WEAT - I think this goes up $GOOGL $GOOG - I like this with the $2200 level  $GIS - not ready to buy yet, but with food shortage this will be great  $REV - kiss of death with a CNBC update $MPLX - cross up $XLF - I like this  $NVDA - I think anything in the $150 range is a great long term buy - it might dip to $140's, but this is long term  $NKE - under $100 it's a buy with China opening $TSLA - again - should have sold at $750  $CLF - commodities are getting killed and if in the $15 range - I like it with earnings coming up $TGT - love this on the 2nd half guidance at $140 $ZIM - I'm unsure of this just because of large inventories, but it's almost trading at it's fair value $FTNT - I like this based on the value and recent split  $ABBV - not a buy now, but you can hold it for the dividend $SPG - under $100 - buy it  $MRNA - without Congressional funding - stay away from it  $FDX - first investor day in 10 years  $ARKG - should have sold at $34 - I see weakness 

Oil will go to $140/barrel. Leaders of the world are talking about it now and knowing that supply just can't increase in the next 6 months while demand is going to soar with China opening and Russian oil embargo.  Today's stocks: $MU - love this in to earnings $CVX - cross up - buy below $150 $XOM - cross up - get it under $90 $DVN - it's over $60 on the cross up so expect it to go back to $70 $OXY - over $60 - take your 10% and move on when you have it.  $FANG - love it - great opportunity on the pending cross up $PXD - I think it's going back to $270 $MPC - Cross up  $UVXY - the VIX is going to 24 and then will shoot back over 30. Buy $UVXY at $13 now.  $BOIL - I think Nat Gas is going back up now - $KOLD had a great run.  $UCO is going back to $55. I like it just like the other oil companies above $META - anything under $200 is still my guidance  $GOOG - if you can get it in the $2200 price range, it's a great long term buy  $SNOW - up 18% MTD - I like it back to cover the gap above $200 now $CLF - if you can get it under $16 I like it - but I think we are going to $20 from here with their earnings $QCOM - it's Forward PE is 9 - great opportunity here $NVDA - great long term buy  $UNH - I think we are heading below $500 again so if you have profits - take them  $AAPL - Trendspider has a fair value gap and Apple is in that now $RIO - cross up - I like this going to $70 $BABA - will it run again? The RSI is very high - but what a run it's had $WEAT - the RSI is too low - this has to go back to $10 $XLF - I like it now that the banks have passed the stress test and some have upped their buybacks and dividends.  $MPLX - Cross up at $29 - I own it and love it with that dividend. 

$NKE kicks off earnings today.  JP Morgan thinks this week we are up 7%.  $LOW, SWK, PII, VFC, and MO are five of the highest quality and most undervalued dividend aristocrats. Meta $MU and INCY, $VFC, and $$MO are five of the highest quality and most undervalued dividend aristocrats. $Meta $MU and $INCY $TSLA - what do I think of this stock?  $UCO or $SCO?  $KOLD or $BOIL?  $CVX $DVN $OXY $XOM $FANG - which ones are crossing up? 

$MRNA is watchable now $ENB - huge dividend beaten down energy stock I like $VIG - high dividends and a beaten down ETF $SHOP - huge moves in the last few days $BHAT - WOW $REV - up again Ibonds - listen to Suzee Orman podcast - Masterclass on them $SNOW - should have bought at algo $120 $FCX - I'll watch this as I think it's unfairly beaten down - someone bought big on the July $33 calls  $EWC - interesting Canada ETF with energy and financials - big buy on $31 Sept puts $XLE - Oct $52 puts big buy - could mean more downside, but I don't think so  $TSLA - buy under $700 $ZEN - purchase at $77/share  $COST - love the stock to go back to $500 $MAR - continued laggard because of multiple - will watch because it's got to have a bounce off these low levels $META - love it under $160 to $200 $RIO - love this huge dividend stock at some point when the algo says buy - hate the company though $UVXY - VIX is going back to 30  $KOLD - big moves still like $BOIL $KREF - love this one as it's down now $K - remember they are splitting in 3 and a potential food shortage coming  $TGT - still love it to move to $160  $NKE - earnings next week - this one is down big and may move  $QCOM - I can't believe it's this low  $ARKG - up 10% since I mentioned the MacD cross up earlier this week 

In the middle of recording this, I wound up getting a phone call and upon my return I did an entire podcast, but I forgot to hit record. So instead of editing and going back, I did my best to continue after that, but if I missed anything, hit me up on Twitter and I'll cover it tomorrow.  I go over my theory that we're in a range for the S&P between 3000 - 3800 and 3500 has a support level. I think you can use $SPXU $TQQQ $SQQQ and other tools to trade within this range.  I also think the VIX wants to be at $35 - use $UVXY - it is at 29 at open - I think it could go to 25, but it def will hit 35 in the next few weeks. There's just too much bad news out there.  $SCO and $KOLD have been the winners for the last week - BIG winners. I think $UCO and $BOIL have been oversold and will look to bounce here, but all the politicians of the world trying to bring oil and energy prices down is what's killing the stocks.  $VEGI and $XME have been beaten down and are good swing trade ideas $REV - trade this one. It's super volatile and look for confirmation before buying in, but its' great for scalping.  $RIO - this one has been beaten down and has a great dividend.  $OXY - Bershire and Buffett bought more - I like it under $60 buy and over $60 sell - just like $DVN but I like $FANG when it gets confirmation. 

$FANG and $SLB both increased their dividends and are pulling back with energy. I like these at lower prices.  $JETS - at some point the airlines get it right and this looks to be an opportunity for a move up.  $CLF - love this one down here. I think it's poised to make a move, but the algo doesn't have a buy on it yet.  $AAPL - I think this wants to move to $115 (which kills me), but the algo did trigger a buy yesterday. I'm just not convinced it's a big move yet.  $SNAP - this might make a move based on unusual options activity $TGT - reiterated their 2nd half big recovery - I really like it at these levels, but this market is not investable right now IMO $XLE $XLF - I like both of these.  $SQQQ and $SPXU are where you should be buying  $MULN - short squeeze again  $TSLA - buy it under $700 again  $IMPP - looks like it's lost it's retail interest $REV - crazy on how this bankruptcy is sending this higher. I think it's got more room to run, but DO NOT buy and hold this one. Trade it. 

There's still downside in this market so trade it - don't invest in it.  Mike Wilson (analyst) thinks the S&P has 3,000 as a level vs. going back to 4,000. If you agree, $SPXU is your play. He thinks the pullback is just on P/E multiples - the recession hasn't been priced in yet.  Crypto over the weekend sank - still not a bottom IMO - but trading it may be a good idea. A new short fund tracking bitcoin is $BITI Oil - up based on tight supply. $DVN under $60 again. $FANG is way oversold  $K splitting in to 3 companies - up 12% YTD. Food shortages are coming - packaged food stocks most likely will go up.  Airlines are blaming pilot shortages for canceled flight, but this will mean higher prices.  Some MAcD cross ups that might be good trades: $ARKG $PTON $MTTR $KREF $UNH - I like this one as an investment - but this market is not currently long term investable. 

While on my cruise, I had a discussion with an economist who's very bearish about the economy. He validated my views on oil and the pending food shortages. I also talk about some of my investments that have gotten hit down - $DVN and $OXY being 2. Rebalancing will be necessary, but make sure you're using tax advantaged accounts like a Roth IRA or a Traditional IRA. Live off the brokerage account and trading, but make sure you're optimizing those based on your age.  Hit me up with any questions you may have.
