AAPL - we have the big event announcing new products. This likely won’t move the stock, but it’s still a significant and later than normal event. Wednesday before the bell $PLTR - I really like the stock long term  Wednesday after the bell QCOM - I still love this stock and think it’s quite solid and with INTC doing really well last week, I think the old guard of chips like QCOM might be coming back. PYPL - this will be the first time the new CEO addresses their forward plan. The stock has been a dog even after I thought it would pull a rebound so I’ll be watching to see the margins. I don’t have huge hopes - but I am still holding. Thursday before the bell SHOP - I’m super interested in this one as I think the pullback has been an opportunity. LLY - the pullback might have been an opportunity to get in. I’ve said it before that GLP1 may be fantastic for any of these drug companies. AMGN reports on Tuesday, but LLY is in the Core Portfolio simply for their weight loss drug. Thursday after the bell AAPL - Rest assured - this is the bellwether of how the market will do this week and I don’t have huge hopes for a pop in this stock $FNGD - why pay 1% to own 10 stocks? But Meta’s warning on potential global economic uncertainties that could impact revenue came alongside an expensive spending plan for 2024, mostly on AI infrastructure and talent. The company is also continuing its investment in the money-losing virtual reality division, known as Reality Labs. Apparently those drugs require lots of exercise so you don’t lose muscle mass when you’re losing weight… anyhow hope you’re well! Which has received positive reviews.  Youtube - it says 58% of the views are from people who are not subscribed - subscribe!  Ackman covered the bond shorts - stocks moved up and yields moved down.  At 9:45 AM ET today, Bill Ackman posted that he covered his bond shorts. 4 hours later, the 10-year note yield is down 15 basis points, on track for its biggest daily drop in 2 weeks. This comes nearly 2 months after he publicly took a large bond short position. Ackman said there is too much risk in the world to continue shorting bonds. He also said that the economy is slowing faster than recent data suggests. The 10 year bond rate hitting 5% is what's killing stocks. It's clear we are now seeing the market continue lower from here. Be careful what stocks you look to trade and look for opportunities to add to a long term buy.
