How I use these sliders in a 52 week range. I have these in Fidelity and this screen shot is from Seeking Alpha.  If a stock is close to the 52 week high - it’s a red flag that trimming it or selling on weakness would be smart. Here are 2 rules that I have at 52 week highs: In a tax advantaged plan, I’ll trim at least some if it’s got some confirmation and closes at a 52 week high. If it loses confirmation, I’ll sell even more. If it creates a tax event, then I’ve got to re-evaluate and do a short tax calculation. I will take some profits on this even if a tax event is created. If it’s a stock I want to continue to hold, I’ll need to make a note to rebuy it and I can do that in Seeking Alpha with a price alert or Trendspider with an algorithm alert. Just make sure there’s an alert so you can don’t miss a 10% run up or forget to rebuy it. Cramer then went on and said he wished the CEO would come on the show because he likes the stock. Sounded like he was def sucking up.
