Mastering Your Breath, Body, and Mind with Brandon Powell
Today my guest on the show is Brandon Powell. Brandon is a level 3 Wim Hof instructor as well as a black belt BJJ instructor. Brandon has spent several years learning under Wim and putting on seminars teaching the famous Wim Hof method. For those that aren’t familiar, Wim is an amazing man who has overcome extremely cold temperatures, sickness, and highly stressful situations by using breathing techniques. Wim has done some tremendous feats such as swimming under ice for a prolonged period of time, climbing mountains with no shoes or shirt on, and even overcoming self induced viruses. Wim’s breathing techniques are now being taught during seminars all around the world by people like Brandon. The breath is a magnificent tool that can be used in many ways that most humans don’t ever act on and Brandon does a great job at showing human beings their potential. During this conversation we go down many different rabbit holes of breath training, using cold therapy, and more. Building Muscle with Dave Lipson
