Education: a Waste of Time and Money - a talk with Prof. Bryan Caplan

Prof. Bryan Caplan, economist from George Mason University, explains why education is (mostly) waste of your time and money. In his view education is about signalling rather than human capital.  It's the process that matters, not its content - your future employers will see your diploma as a proof you are patient, obedient and smart enough to effectively do your job not as  proof of your professional skills. Here's a book prof. Caplan wrote on this topichttps://www.amazon.com/Case-against-Education-System-Waste/dp/0691174652Video version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5BvMfVbxmw
