Happy Resurrection Sunday!!! Today we joyously celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; as Pastor Will Plonk teaches, it all hinges on the resurrection! Today's text, 1 Corinthians 15:12-19, teaches that if not for the cross, we of all people are to be pitied! Without the Resurrection we present pitiful preaching ; have a futile faith ; bear false witness ; are still in our sins ; and the dead are not raised. How wonderful is it that our Savior is RISEN INDEED!!

This week we had the pleasure of hearing from Pastor Simon Guillebaud with some of his takeaways from his life of ministry in the nation of Burundi. Pastor Simon teaches from Deuteronomy 30:11-20, which ultimately presents us with the opportunity to choose life! Pastor Simon's ministry is Great Lakes Outreach (GLO).

Join us this week as Pastor David Kite continues through the Gospel of Mark with Mark 6:1-6(a), the story of Jesus returning to his home town of Nazareth.

This week we jump back into our series through the Gospel of Mark! Pastor Will Plonk taught on Jesus healing the bleeding woman and the raising of the daughter. (Sermons 1-13 are labeled through the episode list if you want to look back).

This sermon emphasizes the joy of corporate worship as a vital spiritual habit. Pastor Plonk exhorts that Sabbath Rest is both a commandment, but it is also an immense gift! Sabbath Rest is a habit that we can and should take to fully trust and enjoy God's blessings to us on a regular basis. Consider how God may be stirring you on this text and habit as you listen! Pastor David Kite continued our Spiritual Habits series this week with Fasting & Simplicity, centering on the text Matthew 6:16-34. Pastor David teaches that the text tells us not "if" but WHEN we fast, emphasizing that this is something we as believers should be doing. While Scripture doesn't prescribe a specific way to do this, the text does lay out a life of simplicity that aligns with the Biblical truth, "Jesus is enough".
