The struggles in our life shouldn't drive the train, but they also shouldn't be treated like they don't exist.  How do we steward the hardships we go through? Are they pointing us towards god, or are they moving us away from the things of God?

We should prioritize community so much that when we don't have it we long for it. This biblical community is one that Satan doesn't want so we must make every effort to make it happen!

Are we receiving the word of God as it actually is? Pure, sweet, good, powerful, and convicting. Our prayer is that we would not become so familiar with God's words that we respond like these are just words. The word of God works in us in a very clear, evident, and imitating-inducing way, only if we let it. But this type of change brings about suffering. We will be hated and excluded by people because we are moved by the gospel. Our sufferings are a reminder that we are not of this world, just living in it!

In your life, what are your methods and motives in our relationships? How are we using or stewarding the authority that we have? Are sharing the Gospel and our very lives in a true and authentic way? We don't need to be compelling people because we serve a compelling God!
