After watching hundreds of students graduate, I talked to several who were unsure about finishing their probation period. These top graduates are fighters, finishers, closers. But several felt overwhelmed by the choices they made. I warned them that cognitive bias could be distorting their perspective and shared some ideas I gleaned from books I read from Annie Duke, Steve Levitt, and Paul Samuelson. I am a big fan of Readwise. It helps me master books. Readwise converts my handwritten notes to text I can review and iterate. Thoughts about innovative teaching practice. These steps use Microsoft SharePoint, Google Drive, Microblog, and Flickr. Hardware includes Ricoh Theta, Rode Wireless Go II mics, and labs with desktops. Students need basic video capture skills.1. Start with a brief drawn from practical application2. Byline with personal IDs linked to online identities and key pbrases.3. Quick clips using camera moves created by Magisto AI.4. React Sessions to discuss food, colour, and environment.5. Collaborate using SharePoint then port some snippets to shared Micro.blog.6. Prodce 360 video reviews using Ricoh Theta clips that are scraped from Flickr.
