I am packed up and transitoning today, no longer tied to a timetable as a university lecturer. Here are some of the other phases of my life.

This is my final day of working with a government paycheck since I am officially retired. I earned a stamp from Irish immigration that allows me to stay in Ireland for 90 days as a businessman but the stamp limits my employment options. No bother--I also have a National Immigration Card that gives me three years of greater flexibility. I was surprised to see that the immigration officer's scan of my passport did not show the existence of my other (more robust) permission to enter Ireland. I met two lovely people in Brussels and in Eindhoven. We plan to share our superpowers as we collaborate in research of AI-assisted production processes for authentic storytelling with multicultural audiences. #iceri2025

Enjoying my last night in Belgium. I want to return.
