#33 - How to treat athletic low back pain with Kellie Wilkie

In this episode with Kellie, we discuss the findings from her recent study on rowers with low back pain published in BJSM in 2021. We cover the definition of athletic low back pain, the prevalence, risk factors and how to unload the athlete. We also compare risk factors for athletic low back pain in athletes to the general population and discuss how these differences may affect patient management.Kellie is a Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS) consultant Physiotherapist.
