In the context of emergency medical services (EMS), CRM involves using clear and effective communication, assertiveness, and mutual support to ensure that all members of the team are working together effectively. It also involves recognizing and managing risks and errors, as well as identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during the course of an emergency response. By adopting CRM principles, EMS crews can ensure that they are working as a cohesive team, with everyone aware of their roles and responsibilities. This can help to reduce the risk of errors and improve patient outcomes. It can also improve job satisfaction and reduce stress among EMS providers.
