It can get muddy for leaders making important strategic decisions which are unpopular at times and can be mentally and physically draining, yet, sometimes everything is riding on that decision.  Sometimes the crazy decisions pay off, while in others they cause or speedup the demise of an organization. Welcome to being a leader, being a great one is not up to you or anyone else for that matter, it's about having a goal and accomplishing that goal. I know I'm oversimplifying it, since leadership isn't a single thing, but if you boil it all down and distill it, being a great leader is within having the ability to make results a reality.   As they say, talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words.
