What if the sun rose on the West? What if, on Tuesday night at 8pm ET, the first Super Tuesday results had been announced from the largest and most diverse state in the country, California? ”Huge win for Bernie Sanders! A huge delegate lead!" An hour later, in conservative, Mormon, Utah, “the winner is....Bernie Sanders!” Then Colorado comes next…”another victory for Bernie Sanders! And in a key swing state!” How we were presented the results on Tuesday night, which has turned this into a two-person race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders with only a handful of delegates separating them, has greatly affected the public perception of the race. While Bernie Sanders is now the underdog, it is a close race, and the American people must hear vigorous debates between Biden and Sanders about who they are, what they believe, what their plans are for the country and how they will defeat Trump.

The corporatist, centrist wing of the Democratic Party has gotten in formation. Joe Biden is their man. The mainstream media is endlessly promoting him and not hiding their bias. Sadly, many of them would rather have Donald Trump in the White House than Bernie Sanders. Michael Moore gives an impassioned plea to everyone who wants to defeat Trump and to defeat the system which gave us Trump to not give in to the failed establishment that handed us Trump in the first place. The future of the county and of humanity depends on it.

The Democratic political, corporate and media establishment were giddy on Saturday night as the South Carolina election returns showed a big victory for Joe Biden. They appear to have found their candidate to take on Bernie Sanders. With Super Tuesday looming, Michael looks ahead to what might become a Biden vs. Bernie contest for the future of the Democratic Party and America.

Senator Bernie Sanders issued a forceful statement on Friday against Russian attempts to meddle in the 2020 election, as he has done in the past. This came in response to a Washington Post story that Sanders was recently briefed by U.S. intelligence officials that Russia was meddling in the election and attempting to "help" his campaign in an unspecified way. This comes on the heels of the Sanders' opponents and the media dredging up the "Bernie Bro" canard from 2016 and attempting to portray online Sanders supporters as uniquely vile.
