WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS BREAKTHROUGH PRAYER: Amazing God, We pray that through the Holy Spirit Your preferred future for Groveport United Methodist Church will be made clear to us. Give us the courage we need to follow You wherever You may take us. We ask that You bind us together in love so that we can bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our friends, families, and community. Open our eyes so that we may see the amazing things You are already doing among us. AMEN. P: Even though it is summertime, our lives are crowded and rushed. L: Come into this time of peace and quiet. P: We need to rest in God’s word. L: God’s love is with you. God will give you rest and refresh your souls. P: Thanks be to God for this "break-away" time. AMEN. HYMN “In His Time” MORNING PRAYER: Lord, we gather here this morning with lives that are filled with activity and movement. We rush from one thing to another as though we are going to run out of time to accomplish everything. Help us to let go of the hectic times and the stresses and find our rest in you. Relax our spirits and refresh our souls. Remind us that there will always be things to do and places to go, but that we need the rest of spirit that you provide. AMEN. FIRST SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 13:16 OUR TIME OF PRAYER (During our time of prayer, the altar rail is open for all who wish to come forward.)
