Some of us come weighed down with worry, and others come with peace and calm. Some of us come assailed by doubts, and others come with unwavering certainty. However we come, O God, here we are, with gratitude for the freedom to worship as we choose. Amen. OPENING SONGS: “Shine, Jesus Shine” and “Because He Lives” WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS OPENING PRAYER: Gracious God, We gather in Your presence to lift up Your holy name in praise and thanksgiving. May everything we do in this time of worship honor You and reflect Your love. As we go from this place, inspire us to live out Your grace and peace in our words and actions, serving our neighbors with compassion and kindness. Amen. We believe that God’s Spirit works in us to create true unity— a unity we are called to pursue and to live out in ways the world can see. We believe that the power of Jesus has overcome the sin of division, breaking down the walls of hatred, separation, and fear. And so, we commit ourselves to protect and live out the unity of the Church— with our words, our actions, and our hearts.
