What's in a Name Anyway?

Let's talk history, food, naming... and whatever Seth Smith wants to talk about! What makes Lee Harvey's so cool? Well, you have to go to feel it! Trust us on that! Other bars may have occupied 1807 Gould St. over the past half century, but the current owners managed to turn this withered watering hole into a place well worth the commute.Remaining loyal to the original bar design, Lee Harvey’s kept the wood-paneled walls that showcase various classic, illuminated beer signs – some of which are older than the typical Friday night crowd. But don’t let the Friday night partiers fool you – Lee Harvey’s clientele isn’t limited to in-the-know hipsters. This South Dallas bar is home base for all kinds.Check out what could be the coolest place in Dallas >  https://leeharveys.com Connect with us! Juliette Fowler Part 2 - President & CEO Nicole Gann

On today's Show, CEO Nicole Gann talks about Fowler Communities today. In 2012, Gann joined the team at Fowler, where she has enjoyed working with youths as well as seniors and quickly noticed similarities between the two at-risk populations. She served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2018. In this role, she is the visionary and strategist for the organization utilizing both her analytical and creative abilities. Gann’s expertise lies in her ability to not only manage numbers and strategy but also in her ability to develop ways to help others thrive. For Gann, the mission of Juliette Fowler Communities is embedded in her heart. She can relate to Juliette Fowler’s selflessness of caring and capacity to move through grief. Fowler lost her husband and two small children but still found purpose. Not being able to have children of her own was a loss in Gann’s mind until she recognized that not all mothering and nurturing happens solely in the context of birthed children. There are many opportunities to give love to others, and she has found those in leading Juliette Fowler Communities.https://fowlercommunities.org/ Connect with us!
