Across the United States students have been rallying at universities in protest against the ongoing war in Gaza with demonstrations also taking place in Trinity College Dublin and elsewhere in Europe. Joining Anton to discuss the issues is László Molnárfi, President of Trinity College Students' Union & Larry Donnelly, University of Galway Law Lecturer and Political columnist with the Journal.ie.

Nature fans on the prowl for a good documentary can rejoice. Derek Mooney’s ‘Back from the Brink’ series is returning in June- viewers can expect  killer whales and wild goats to grace their screens. Derek joined Bobby to chat about his new RTE series and bird lovers' hype for International Dawn Chorus Day, which falls tomorrow.

When a former rugby player and model couple had to adapt to the challenges pandemic restrictions had on their pilates business, they catered to their customers' needs and went online.  Now back in the reformer studio, Gordon D’Arcy and Aoife Cogan are catering to customers' needs again, but this time – starting with socks.  The pair stepped up to the plate when they noticed the necessity of non-slip socks in the studio and are launching their own brand of grip soled socks.  Joining Anton this morning was Gordon D’Arcy and Aoife Cogan.

Today is May the 4th, otherwise celebrated by some as Stars Wars day, which is very popular with a lot of Irish people.  The historical and remote Skellig Michael off the coast of Kerry has become renowned for screen tourism ever since its popular appearance in the most recent Stars Wars trilogy. Since its appearance in 2015, the old monastic island has been visited by fleets of tourists with lightsabers in hand. Today neighboring village Portmagee plays host to the second annual May the 4th Sci-Fi Film Festival, celebrating the galaxy far, far away. But has the whole thing become a little bit tired? Or is there still an appetite for all things Star Wars? To answer that Anton was joined by Nuri Albakri and Dave Byrne
