What a day it was for team Ireland in Paris yesterday. Rhys McCleneghan took home Ireland’s 3rd gold medal last night in the pommel horse while Boxer Kellie Harrington guaranteed herself at least a silver medal and will fight for Gold on Tuesday. Joining live from Paris to reflect on all the days action  well as to preview the week that lies ahead for Ireland was Sinead O’Carroll, Editor of the Journal.ie and Co-Host of the Olympics Daily by the 42.

Joining Sean Defoe 'In Conversation' was legendary DJ, producer and Mark McCabe. Mark discussed his career, number one Irish track "Maniac 2000" and what made the 90's Irish dance scene so special.

A new survey which was published this week, commissioned by the Electoral Commission in the wake of the June elections looked at how perceptions of diversity affected how people voted.  One finding coming out of the survey was a large number of people thought government immigration policy was part of a wider ‘act’ to have ‘obedient’ voters, A known conspiracy theory. Joining Sean Defoe for Anton was author and scientist of The Irrational Ape: Why We Fall for Disinformation, Conspiracy Theory and Propaganda  David Robert Grimes, on why conspiracy theories are gaining ground among voters and how to combat it.

After a stunning performance, Rhys McClenaghan took home gold for Team Ireland in the gymnastics pommel horse event. He joined Sean Defoe to chat about how he was feeling after the win.
