Nina Carberry might be best known as one of the country’s most well-respected former jockeys (not to mention the winner of Dancing with the Stars 2022) but you may soon find yourself running next to her in your local park too as she has partnered up with Vhi as an ambassador for their ‘More Than Running’ campaign. Nina joined Anton to talk about life after racing and her newfound love of park runs.

She’ll also be performing in 'Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Live Show' at the SSE Arena, Belfast on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November, and on to Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November.

One of the Gaelgóir community’s key heartlands is here, but why has Galway established such a strong relationship with our native tongue and do we value it as much elsewhere in the country? Maria Walsh became a familiar face back in 2014 when she was crowned the Rose of Tralee but for a few years now she has been making her name in politics as a Fine Gael MEP for the Midlands-North-West Constituency. She joined Anton in Galway.

To kickstart your weekend Anton wanted you to spare a thought for the brave souls running the Connemara 100-mile ultra marathon that kicked off at 6 am and goes into the small hours of tomorrow. The race founder, Ray O’Connor, joined him on the show
