'Marathon des Sables': The toughest foot race in the world
The 'Marathon des Sables' kicks off next week and is known as the toughest foot race in the world. Over the course of six days, competitors travel 250 kilometers across the Moroccan Sahara in the sweltering heat, carrying a backpack filled with food and sleeping gear. Joining Anton is one of this year’s competitors, Brian Foley, who is running in aid of Pieta House and Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland.
