Our first show of the new year offers two major conspiracy subjects for the (non) price of one, as we're joined from the US by Jim Fetzer. Jim is a former marine corps officer and long-standing university professor, as well as founder of Scholars For 9/11 Truth and host of The Real Deal Podcast series.We begin by addressing an item currently in the news - the Obama Administration's ongoing attempts to disarm the American population, and the major event that was intended to justify the move - the Sandy Hook school 'shooting.' A timely edition, as Dutch researcher and radio and TV host Johan Oldenkamp guests to discuss the myths, symbology and spiritual science behind the festival we know today as Christmas.Johan reveals how the event represents a mixed bag of influences from European traditions, primarily anchored in the Winter Solstice. This was a time of worship for the 'rebirth' of the Sun, and led to the religious figures of Mithra, Horus, and most recently, Jesus, with the Sun/ Son of God having a double-meaning. The Roman Catholic church brought in Christianity to replace the Pagan traditions, keeping the dates the same to ease the transition. 'Christmas' also tied in with the popular Roman festival of Saturnalia. Johan points out that 'Christmas' literally means the sacrifice of Christ Consciousness, and has come to be a subversion of its original sun-worshipping status, to instead bring in the dark influences of Saturn. For this edition, Mark Devlin travels to Montenegro to meet with conscious hip-hop artist Disl Automatic. Disl recounts his early days growing up in a tough neighbourhood of Chicago, and the inspiration his surroundings provided towards honing his sharp lyrical skills. After a few of the hard knocks that come with the territory, he moved to his parents' homeland of Montenegro, and in 2010, had a conscious awakening to truth.At this point, Disl said he realised his rapping skills were the gift that he was obliged to use to help communicate the truths he had come to understand to others, and that finding some way to do this is a responsibility that falls on all who come to raise their awareness in this way.The conversation covers many topics, including the issue of self-improvement, and the recognition that none of us can expect to be perfect and flawless, in the way we might sometimes feel pressured to be. Good Vibrations breaks its temporary hiatus as Mark Devlin is joined by the hip-hop MC-turned researcher/ author known as The Black Dot. His 2005 book entitled 'Hip Hop Decoded: From Its Ancient Origin To Its Modern Day Matrix' is now considered a groundbreaking piece of work, and has earned the praise of many of the founding names in hip-hop culture. In it, he proposes that the scene that was spawned in The Bronx in the 1970s, marked a re-awakening of many spiritual and metaphysical components that had their roots an ancient cultures. Gordon shares details of his evidence, revealing the great significance of a particular address in London - 788-790 Finchley Road. Irish DJ, producer, and host of the Alchemy Radio podcast series, John Gibbons, joins us for his second Good Vibrations appearance. John last guested in May 2013, when he reported that there were subtle indicators of manipulation in the upper levels of the electronic dance music scene. Two years on, he says, the calling cards are blatant for those with the eyes to see. The same occult symbols that have been permeating the hip-hop and pop music worlds are now cropping up in this genre, suggesting that it is now firmly in the sights of those that wish to hijack its household names for mass mind controlling purposes.We discuss the apparent 'recruitment' of certain big names in dance music who, after years of organic growth, seem to be suddenly and miraculously elevated to colossal levels of success, as well as the new young names, who appear from seemingly nowhere. We also get into the bizarre trend of big-name DJs now starting to receive extremely dubious 'honours' like knighthoods and MBEs. John shares some of his insights as a music producer into how sound itself can be used to affect human mood and emotion and to shape perceptions - particularly that of a digital/ electronic nature, which can interact with the energy field of the human body on an unseen level. We also cover symbols as a method of marketing, particularly with relevance to the big dance music festivals, and the power that DJs hold over massive numbers of people at such gatherings. The chat finishes by reflecting on the so-called second Summer Of Love of 1988 - the Acid House/ rave movement and the arrival of massive quantities of Ecstacy which gave rise to the global dance music scene we see today.
