While on Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" podcast, Charissa Thompson revealed she would make up a sideline report if extenuating circumstances prevented her from getting a report. Thompson noted instances like the head coach not coming out at halftime or that it was too late to get an interview as examples where Thompson would come up with basic talking points that a head coach might say if they were to talk to her.
