One of the things we, as guys, hate to talk about is past wounds. But we all carry pain from our past, and if we don’t deal with it we’re going to hurt other people. We all have sins we struggle with, and most of us have addictions we just can’t seem to get rid of. Lent can be a good time to cleanse our lives, but we first need to realize that we are slaves to these sins. And when you’re a slave to something, it’s really hard to get away from it. That’s why Victor and I decided to talk this week about dealing with the fact that we often have the heart of a slave towards our own sin.
