MCM is a screenwriter, author and programmer. He got his start in the free culture movement with the wildly successful internet fable "The Pig and the Box". He followed that up with the award-winning animated action series "RollBots", which aired on YTV and around the world. Since then, he has kept busy by launching experimental fiction projects like the live written novels "Typhoon" (written in 72 hours online), "The New Real" (48 hours at io9.com) and "The Archivists" (72 hours at "The Game Is Up" festival in Ghent, Belgium). He continues to write for a variety of preschool series (Disney Jr's "Justin Time", Sprout's "Terrific Trucks", TVO's "Shutterbugs", which he co-created- will be airing just after Labour Day), while still crafting genre-bending fiction series for grown-ups. He lives in Ottawa, Canada, with his wife and deeply embarrassed daughters.
